hey guys
my name is miguel i live in portugal, i smoke cigarettes for about 7 years, i strarted vaping on an ego twist i think from a friend of mine, i am now thinking on invest some money on an ecig for me so my question is for a noob like me whats the best e cig for around 150€ i like box mods but they are too expensive and they look to complicated to start, i don't want to buy a 20€ ecig to last me a week and i exchange for a better one, i want to buy an ecig that lasts me and that i can enjoy and it's one of the bests, not the best because i don't want to spend like 300€, so if you can give me some names and pros and cons that would be great

I would go for a Vamo V5 with some different carto-tanks and clearomizers, like the Aerotank Mega and iClear 30s, thats a good start.

For the money the MVP 2 can't be beat. It has a very smooth vape, LONG battery life, lots of flexibility, and a very user friendly menu system.
The Reo's are wonderful devices, but if you haven't advanced to building your own coils it might be a little bit too much of a jump forward for you.
You will also have the added expense of buying batteries, a charger, and multimeter to go with it.
If you can afford it, the Reo, a Provari, or something similar is a great choice, but are out of the price range you stated you wanted to stay in.
Many very experienced vapers still use the MVP.

Another benefit is that you don't have to buy batteries or a charger (which here in the states would cost you another $35-$40 in addition to the cost of the mod).

I also love my REO, but as Rangertrix mentioned they do cost more than you stated you want to spend.

I personally wasn't to crazy about the look of the MVP 2, when I started vaping as well. So I started with a vv spinner 1300mah and the Nautlis. Then I wanted something more so I picked up the mvp2 and it's my most used. It is big but gets the job done, long battery life and all the functionality you need.

I personally use the Xtar VP1 charger, there are cheaper ones to be sure, it cost on average about $40USD by itself.
Then add the cost of batteries, of which I would recommend at least 3, good quality ones can cost $6USD to $12USD.
Your charger and batteries is the one place where you don't want to go cheap, especially in a mechanical mod like the Reo.
Also with the Reo, I wouldn't own one without the sub-ohm upgrade kit. So there's the cost of that too.
When you do get the point of Reo's, Provari's, and rebuildable's, you'll be amazed and never look back.
The good news is that the MVP 2 works great with rebuildable's too, when you get to that point.
So, it's not a finite mod that you will out grow.
Vaping is whole new obsession, I mean experience and hobby, that will open a whole new world to you (including better health).
I didn't think I could ever afford the equipment I have now, but how can you really put a price on the health benefits I have achieved?
Besides, the thousands I have spent on vaping is still cheaper than I would've spent on cigarettes.
Just my . Take it for what it's worth, which is about half of that.

All new.reo mods have sub ohm contacts installed. A quality charger can be had for around $30 and I just purchased 4 new sony V5 for $34 , so yes thats around $65 on top of the cost for a mod. I'm not at all familiar with a mvp 2 but from what your saying it has a rechargeable internal. So when your recharging does it act as a pass through or do you have to wait for it to recharge before use again . Also is the battery replaceable when it reaches it life span.

The MVP 2 claims to be a "pass through", and while it can be used while charging, it does need to have somewhat of a charge to be used as such.
It does have an internal battery, a large one ( some get as much as 2 to 3 days on a single charge, depends on build and vaping style, of course), and cannot be replaced
It charges via a micro USB, and I personally would not use it while charging. It also has an output so you can use it to charge other USB devices in a pinch (i.e. Mobile phone).
With a life of 1 to 3 years (I think 1 to 1 1/2 is more appropriate) and cost of $30USD to $40USD, I think it is well worth it. A Twist or Spinner will cost that in a B&M.

I own several mech's and 3 Provari's and a Reo is next on my list. They've just been the same for so long that I am hoping a new revision of it is coming soon!
And with my luck, they will right after I buy one. They announced a new Provari just days after I bought my last one.
The Reo, Provari, rebuildables, and such are all great! They just didn't fit the parameters the OP gave.
I don't think that the minimal cost for a year or two's use is a wasted expense. That was my point. A great device that has great adaptability without wasting money trying a lot of other things first. I didn't think it would be a regret later on or I wouldn't have suggested it.

Sounds like a quality device for the money. I thought 150€ was like $200 so that's why I suggested a reo. He could of said 40€ and I would of still recommend it lol. I hear you on buyers remorse tho, it could be said about anything these days

The MVP 2 is the best bang for your buck out there I think. It has pretty much every function you could think of save for vaping at the really high wattages needed for cloud chasing. For your normal, everyday, vaping needs though, the MVP delivers a great, quality, vape for a fabulous price. No extra chargers or batteries needed, although I do recommend buying a back up, even though you can vape it while it's charging.

For toppers, the MVP typically comes with either an iClear 16 or an iClear 30. I didn't like them personally, but many people do. They're top coil tanks, which will provide a warmer vape then bottom coils. They work against gravity though, as the juice must travel up to get to the coil. You may have to tip the device to make sure the coil is saturated when the juice is running low. Bottom coil tanks don't need this, but provide a somewhat cooler vape. I suggest getting one of those in addition to the iClear that comes with the MVP to determine which you prefer. The line of Protanks are usually pretty decent. Version 2 of both the Protank and the Mini Protank use a single coil, and versions 3 and the aerotanks use dual coils. Dual coils provide a little extra vapor and flavor, but go through the juice faster. Single coils are easier to clean and maintain. It's a matter of preference again.

From another relative noob, the MVP really is a great way to step up a bit. I think it has been a great inexpensive introduction to vv/vw mods. The long battery life is a big plus for me.

So far all the mods listed are great, I have a VAMO V5 myself, using it as I type this. As far as tanks go, from my own experience, both the Aero Tank Mega, or the Aspire Nautilus are great choices, if you want to stick with clearomizers. I personally prefer the Aero Tank over the nautilus as I feel like I get a much better flavor than with the nautilus. but again just my opinion, and they are both great.

BUT...if your willing to dabble into making your own coils, the kayfun is a game changer, at least for me. Building coils is not hard at all, and once you have one built it'll last months before you need to build a new one. The flavor has been unmatched so far, and you get a nice thick vapor.

That's just my 2 cents, but best of luck with whatever you choose to go with, there are so many good options out there.

Another MVP V2 vote. You really can't go wrong with this one, especially for the price. I love mine and I use it all the time. Forget about the looks, it will grow on you.
