Hey, last year my laptop battery died, so instead of getting a new battery (which costed £120 new) I bought a few green samsung 18650 2500mah 3.7 volt cells, when purchasing them it was cheaper to buy 15 of them than it was to buy 9 so I went along with it and said .... it I might use them in the future, ever since they've been laying in the original packaging completely untouched.
Would it be safe to use them for my vape? I'm planning on getting a smok alien kit.

@necropanda it sure sounds like they are the same ones but I am not a battery expert and I think people will ask for some pictures to help verify.

Maybe @Mooch is available and can give you an expert opinion.

Did you soldier the cells in your laptop battery?
I did solder the laptop batteries but as i said i only had to use 9 meaning i have 6 left, i compared them to the 2nd result on amazon uk and they seem to be the exact same ones in every way.

Are those the Samsung 25r? Authentic? If so, no problem using them for vaping (up to about 60w per battery in a regulated mod).

Welcome and glad you joined. Good luck on reusing, just make sure they are undamaged.
