I figured I better introduce myself. Been lurking for a few days after a friend told me the success she's had with e-cigs and talked me into giving it a try. I've quit smoking multiple times but it never seems to stick because I enjoy smoking too much and I think I'm more addicted to the act itself than the nicotine...but I also have a stressful job which doesn't help. But after a few health scares, I know this habit isn't worth my life.

So, I tried a Blu disposable and actually really enjoyed it. The reviews here have me a little skeptical of the Blu despite my positive experience. Had a friend give me a White Cloud to try but it's been more of a pain in the .... than anything which upset me for how expensive they are. So, I took the jump and ordered an 808 starter kit from The Vapor Girl after my friend suggested the company. Now just anxiously awaiting its arrival and suggestions on where to get the best e-juice.

Welcome to the forum, kristlynngirl! As far as the best liquids..it's a matter of personal preference. What kind of flavors are you looking to try? If you are wanting to try out a different variety of flavors to get an idea of what you are going to like, you could try ECBlend E-Liquids - Something Better. They are cheap and pretty darn good. An easy way to find your flavor niche(s). There are plenty more vendors out there and I am sure there will be many suggestions given to you to try! Happy vaping!

Thanks! Flavor wise I'd love to try some different ones and slowly wean off the nicotine. I have always been a menthol smoker, and the Blu I tried had a vanilla mint taste which I enjoyed so I'll probably start there. I've also heard great things about some of the cherry favors, and used to smoke cloves on and off so I may check them out too.

Greetings from Canada! Welcome to ECF!

It is best to try many small samples before "saving money" buying the larger sizes. Have fun with it, try flavors you think you might like and some you normally wouldn't. It's amazing what we find that we like even though we wouldn't try them usually.

And expect your taste to change occasionally, so if you don't like a juice, set it aside and try it in a couple weeks or a month. The flavor may change a bit and your taste may change a bit. You will also have times that you may not be able to taste at all! That's normal.

Don't be afraid to add some of this flavor with some of that flavor. Use your juices like your spice rack. Have fun with it!

Relax, Enjoy!

Welcome! I started with a v2 kit, loved it! Just progressed to a variable volt mod as the battery life gets you through a day or two! You will also quickly appreciate how variable voltage enhances the flavor of juice and increases vapor production! Also went with a tank system so I could vape most of the day without changing cartos! Have fun...eventually look at the Provari ProVape E-Cigarettes: Buy Electronic Cigarettes & Smokeless Cigs and you will be in love! It's all part of the journey!

I like Madvapes juice because it tastes good, they have lots of reviews so one can see others experiences! Also their prices are really AWSOME! TopVapor USA E-Liquid :toast:

Welcome!

Only thing that I have to add is that I've noticed that I need a very strong flavor and throat hit to keep off the cigs.

I wasn't a menthol smoker or a great fan of cinnamon, but both these flavor types have strong throat hit and I found them the most satisfying.

Don't be discouraged if you need to try a number of flavors to find your ADV (all day vape).

Also, when you are first quitting, don't stint yourself on the amount or nicotine level of the juice you vape.

Anything to keep you off the cigs!
