I actually found the nautilus has better flavour than the subtank, i have both and while the subtank can do sub ohm or the rebuildable option which is an advantage, the nautilus beats it for flavour. I don't think the subtank is bad in any way, but you might find more vapor but less flavour is what it gives you.

For the mod/battery part the sigelei mini is a decent option for cheap, 33 or there abouts. But i wouldn't count on it lasting for years. The sigelei 150 feels pretty well made too (the non tc version haven't tried that) will give longer battery life, for about 60 or so.

The provari are very well made and do give really good flavour. The 2.5s are now down to 80. Or the new radius is 200 and will handle regular, sub ohm, drippers etc.

My blog on hre mentions some of these. Congrats and keep enjoying it whatever :)

Fasttech is actually pretty reliable. If they say it's "Authentic" then hundreds of buyers here on ECF trust that it's authentic. They DO also sell "clones" - but those are labelled "Kanger Style Tank" or similar. Aspire and a couple other vendors flag them because they are not "authorised distributors" selling at "reccommeded retail price" - but will sometimes get those name brand products through other means and sell them discounted.

Just sayin'.

For a lot of the starter stuff, like Kanger and Aspire and Sigelei, there are competitive prices in a lot of places.

There's a good reason for the low prices at Fasttech. They are #3 on Aspire's list of those selling fake products. I can't speak of the ' 'Sigelei' ' products products they carry. Be very careful, those selling product at more than a 15% discount of the manufacturer's price are probably selling fakes.
