Well hey ya'll! I'm new here and still trying to find my way around. I got my first "e-cig", a Cig2O, from a local shop a couple of months ago but wasn't happy with the expense or the supply. ($5 per cartomizer and they never had any in-stock.) My husband and I decided to try some online shopping and found ourselves ordering batteries and cartomizers, chargers, kits, more cartomizers, juice, drip-tips, even more cartomizers and even more juice. It gets kinda crazy, doesn't it? (I have to say though that every single vendor I've dealt with so far, and there have been a lot of 'em!, has been great. I haven't had a bad experience yet.)

My husband didn't last long. He went back to smoking but I've stuck with vaping. There are days when I just love it and other days when I feel overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I have already and thoughts like "Oh no! Did that break? Wait...did I just SPILL that?" I have to admit that there are times when I really miss the convenience of cigarettes.

I got tired of charging batteries all the time and ordered an Echo 1300 kit which I received yesterday. So far I'm really liking it and the longer battery life is so nice. I'm actually considering trying some DIY at some point, although I don't think I'm quite ready to take the plunge just yet. I'm still trying to absorb all the basic vaping info and it seems like there's still so much left to learn.

Thanks for listening!

Sounds like you are are headed in the right direction. Welcome to ECF. BTW...When I started with e-cigs in 2009 I fell off the wagon for a while...but then I realized how much I missed the taste and smell of the e-cig and got right back to it and have not looked back since. Maybe your husband will switch back again!

It gets easier (really!). Congrats to you for hanging in there. At 1300 mAh you can check battery-life off your worry list. You may encounter a few BVDs ahead (Bad Vape Days) but not one will be as bad as hacking every morning, lack of energy, having cigarette-breath... you know the list. Glad you're here :)
