I considered getting the HANA Mods clone DNA 20 mini because it is so light and fits in my hand so well and is only 99.99 at my local b&m, but THEN I saw some vids on the Vapor shark DNA 30 and I fell in love. It is so small and light and I just love the look of it. I have been going over and over in my mind if it is worth the extra 80 bucks. I am disabled and have neuropathy and carpal tunnel and I need a lightweight device. Right now I am still using evod batteries. I only get my disability once a month so it will take me awhile to finish saving the money, but I just think the overall look is better and I am very sensitive to the aesthetics of a device. I have a friend that gave me an aerotank and I so want to take it for a spin, but I am impatient, lol. Will the Vapor shark be worth the wait? Is there a special vaping loan center I can borrow some money from, I want that thing so bad!!!! LOL.

Here is a link to the bug mine had for a few hours

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...44-another-broken-kinda-cana-dna30-clone.html

summary:
Cloupor clone. Screen started acting up a lot after just 24hrs. Bugged out for a few hours and returned to normal and has since been fine (for over a week)

they have an assortment of quirks not found on originals.
- dbl click to fire from sleep mode (sometimes)
- screen randomly comes on from sleep mode
- looses ability to regulate when the battery becomes low (you need to INCREASE wattage)
- sometimes lowers your wattage by .1 by itself
- keeps referencing Skynet and Cyberdyne Systems ( I made this one up)

There have been a few that are completely bricked already as per the mega thread in the VV forum.

But most are very happy with them. Save for my temp phantom screen glitch, I am very happy with mine.

+1
I got mine from elev8 and I've had it for right at 2 weeks. I've experienced all of the above "issues" and I'm still very happy with my purchase. Most of those are non issues for me and if the screen goes dead (has happened once) I pulled the battery for 2 minutes and it came right back as soon as I put it back in. The ability to sub ohm drip regulated and turn around and run a kayfun at 1.8 on the next hit is why I wanted this mod and it has served me well at a good price point so far. That being said, should it crap out on me I won't hesitate to throw another chip in and go again with some minor upgrades. Overall, very happy and I'm a cheap ........

unfortunately have to use it with my nautilus because my drippers positive post is pooched but it works well with the carto.
im in love with it so far, looks sexy, form is alot smaller than i expected, finish is super nice (on the red anyways).

just have to wait a week and hope nothing goes wrong.

I bought two of them and get em just before Memorial weekend. I have seen some of the same issues people are reporting but overall, it's the best $75 I spent. I plan on replacing the 510 connector with the ones from FatDaddyVapes when he has them in stock.
I did try to get a real one but could never find one. If I get another one, I'm looking at the DBMini or the Vaporshark one.

Nice! I've seen them on ebay but they want $100 or more. I feel like $80 is a lot. Might have to pull the trigger though.

80 is all you need to spend, I've got a green one and a black one and they are worth $80, keep checking vape101 and get on the notification list

Just a side note for everyone. Do not put the clone onto an Omnitester. It will most likely fry. Plugged mine in today when I got to work to test the Omnitester out and it immediately started smoking. Melted the screen out of the mod and melted all of the components on the PCB. May be a freak accident, but I wouldn't risk it. Luckily I have an authentic DNA 30 at home that I can swap out.

Overall it's a functional 32 watt box mod.
It's no Hana, but it will give you a taste of what a better made APV will do at a fraction of the cost of a legit Hana, but it's not gonna steal any thunder from the real thing.

First time I recall you giving the authentic the tip of the hat...but I guess you can't take a file, vinegar, etc to the problems with a chip. :)

I saw a chip in a thread, but for some reason I didn't save it..
rectangle screen.. looked larger than dna, but not by much.. light blue backlight with brighter blue lettering I believe. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I remember the post stating it was a 50watt chip.

My buddy has one and compared it to my authentic one and its pretty much the same thing. The chip is a clone and I only tried it on 12 watts with my kayfun on there but its about the same. I just don't know how long the chip will actually last you but if you're not worried about it failing over time I would say go for it

I bought one. And it's nice. Put it next to my friends authentic v3. And the finish on the paint is different. But they preform the same We tried with a dripper. Se battery. Same watts. Same ohm load. Same hit. Just saying
