Hello all! I'm a 38 yo female who started vaping full time about 2 months ago. I'm here for information and advice.
Hi and welcome,
How long did you smoke and how many per day?
What kit or vape did you get/ are you using?

Where in the wide world of vape are you located? UK/EU/AU/US/CA?

Cheers
I

I did vape to stop smoking, but I may have to drop the vaping and go back to smoking.
Why is this? Do you live in a banned state?

The Talo X was one of my first RDAs, and it's not a bad RDA. I've been around the block with quite a few of them, and the Talo X definitely sits in the top 25% for flavor.

Congrats on the moving away from smoking.
Why would you have to drop vaping and go back to smoking?

Is there a problem with your current set up?

    Cheers

I don't know. I asked on Reddit what I could be doing wrong, and got told I do nothing but complain, there's something wrong with me and I needed to go to a dr.

Not in a banned state,no. Just apparent medical issues with it? So it seems smoking is "better" for me in a sense. I'm not ready to give up the habit yet. It took a LOT of trying to get off smokes and go to vaping in the first place.

Hmmm. Reddit isn't the best place for answers. However, like Reddit, we're not to give out medical advice either - none of us are doctors (as far as I know). We may be able to help you fix your current setup and/or change what you may be doing wrong, though.

I did go to my dr for other reasons and have had 2 chest xrays done. My lungs are clear.

What are you experiencing from vaping that has you considering going back to smoking?
    This:

So I've been vaping for almost 2 months. When I hit the vape, pretty often I get the same feeling I did when I smoked too much. A burn in my lungs, followed by a coughing fit. I've changed wattage, how I inhale, airflow, etc. and nothing is working. Should I still be coughing like this 2 months in? The irritation concerns me as well. When I cough I do produce some phlegm. It's literally identical almost to when I smoked almost 2 packs a day.

How many ML of liquid do you vape per day?

What is the nicotine concentration and PG/VG ratio of your liquid?
Is it salt or freebase nicotine?

    Cheers

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Change your juice to an other flavor and also another brand and see what happens. If vaping nic salts, try regular freebase nicotine juices.

Reddit ECR is best used for trolling the "vaping gods" & know-it-alls.

Reddit Vaping is only for flexing vape muscles but terrible for info. Rather useless to me.

Reddit vaping101 is mildly useful to newbies.

Reddit DIY_ejuice is best to just read with a grain of salt but never post as they will find a reason to close your thread unless you are in the "clique".

ECF is the best place, the only problem being that there aren't that many active users here as there used to be, which seems to be the case for all vaping sites using the forum format. Forums seem to have lost favor when social media became really popular. I personally can't stand those social media formats.

Hopefully you can figure something out and either continue to vape or just quit altogether because going back to smoking is not advisable.
