Im looking for some suggestions on this atomizer. Preferably from someone who has it?

Swore off dripping atties after I fried a 510 after a couple weeks and havent had very much success with an rba after 4 or 5 builds. I have a Vamo which im gonna be using it with most of the time and a couple egos. I usually use 2.5ohm heads in my tanks. But Im also seeing alot of people say they love the HH 1.5 atomizer. What do you guys suggest? I dont really understand what the difference is if you have a VV/VW device, if you vape a 1.5 head, or get a 2.5 atty and turn up the voltage. Whats the difference? Does this matter more on an ego because it has more limited voltage range or something?

Other thing, what is hybrid? How does that differ from a normal 510 atty? Why is the 357 10 dollars more than the Cisco Spec? Is it a better vape? Has more endurance? Ive watched like 5 youtube videos on this thing and my questions arent being answered...any help before I possibly throw my money away on one?

And whats custom about the custom version? Looks like the same options as for the normal 357 except for the option to choose juice blend, which I can only assume is what theyre gonna use as a primer? Dunno

I am trying to remember where I heard it, but I think the custom version is customized to work better with whatever blend of juice you primarily use. That being said, I bought two HH.357 SR (2.0 ohms) Long Barrel about a month ago. I read that I'd have a more diverse Voltage range to play with since I use a VV device (won't say what, lest I be a fanboy) so I went with the recommendation. Rumor has it that the HH.357 lasts longer than a typical atty. So far it's been about a month (in use) since receiving it and I use it daily, especially since I started working from home. Am I satisfied? That's a definite yes. It took a couple of days to get the hang of dripping (not the atty), but it works beautifully. Floods still happen but a quick clean up, not a big deal. It's already lasted 4X longer than the Joye 510 (honestly though, it might have been my own fault, trying to dry burn it and such)

Typically I start it at 4.2 volts and go plus or minus from there.

Cleaning is way easy. There's a video that has cleaning and usage recommendations on the Avid website on the ordering page (you may have to search for it) that explained everything beautifully. I watched it once and got what I needed to know. Follow it to a T and you can't go wrong, you'll be able to run and gun..

It's all about the plumes and flavor..

Good Luck

I just took the plunge on one of these too and have only used shorty attys before with bad results. Burning and burning and that primer taste was nauseating to say the least. Is it better with the HH 357? The only one they had in stock was 1.5ohm so I'm wondering if I should be around the 5 to 6v range? Also, when I ordered mine it didn't give an option for juice type?

I would never suggest this atty to someone not already familiar with low-res 510's. If you guys have little experience, please at least watch Hanna's video (search YouTube for Hybrid Vapes; that's him) BEFORE you fire it up.

The HH.357 needs a careful break-in. And NEVER fire it before it's wet. It's not a good device for beginning drippers. I'd really suggest a $6 Empire Mods 510 atty to start.

That is pretty good advice, I've watched it once, will watch it again before I clean out and use for the first time. It seems like their support is pretty good too. He says you can send him your atty to have the coil scraped as long as it's not complete toast. Have you ever tried that? He said he only charges like $5 for the service, sounds pretty good.

Michael, If you run a 1.5 ohm coil at 5 volts, you'll be burning 16.67 watts. that's like way toasty. at 4 volts it would be 10.67 watts, still on the warm side, but to high for a fresh set IMHO. I would start at 3.5 volts, adjust up or down from there for flavor. Once the coil gets broke in, then you may want to turn it up a bit, since after a few days use, the ohm's usually go up a point or 2.

The last coil I built tested at 1.5 ohms, after about 13ml's of juice burned through it it's now holding at 1.7 ohms am currently vapping at 4.2 volts or 10.38 watts. Getting a real warm tasty vape. Depending on the flavor of juice, I'll adjust my voltage anywhere from 3.7-4.5. HTH.

To figure out watts simply square the voltage and divide by ohms. W = (VxV) / R According to ohm's law.

I should be getting my Boba's tomorrow, and will let you know how it works on my rba. Of course I did buy the clone Boba's, but hey Boba was cloned thousands of times and used in the clone wars, and there was still a Boba clone around to fight Anakin's son, but mainly bought the clone to pizz people off. Just thinking that in a Boba vs Boba conflict, Boba is likely to win.

I have done that, and it is one shipping charge for as many HH's as you need rebuilt.
