About the flooding? I wouldn't know. It hasn't done so yet. But unscrewing the tank and blowing out the atty is no harder than if it was bare really... I'll let u know if I have issues doing it if I ever have to lol. The reason to screw with perfection? I have an hour fifteen commute to work each way... Dripping is a dangerous thing to do while driving- and do u really expect me to go back to evods and vivi novas? Lol heck no! :). By the way, placement was off when punching the holes, and I cracked the ceramic cup :( lol I was too excited to try and didn't use my dead one first for practice. Now I've punched my dead one, lower holes carved a bit into the wool for a more seamless mesh to wool transfer... And my cup is good :) going to do some wet runs when I drop my son at his moms house.

Edit: feeding fantastically, but too low- creates issues with airflow. So next one will be right in the middle of the two placements.

I've been keeping an eye on this thread as I did start it... Curious why you aren't putting the hole as high as possible? This is what worked great for me.
Also using a center punch, then a drill bit to drill the hole maintains the integrity of the shape, thus less chance of leaks.

Glad you are enjoying it :toast:

The reason being I loved the idea, but I didn't like the idea of having to swirl sideways on a provari lol. I didn't like having a hole unstoppered. So the mesh as wick to wool intrigued me as an alternative. Works a treat, as I said, and an unpowered drag pulls in juice nicely. I just pull til I can smell/ taste the juice, and I know it's perfect. I guess... It's because I like to tinker too, and your way seemed to easy and straight forward lol

Also, the higher the hole the more degree of tilt. It's why I got off vivi Novas and on to the bcc s, before finally switch to attys. I like position independence

Ok... Soon... Just set up a new one on my oldest atty, that I've been using pretty exclusively since the first of June... 1.5 ohm, lowered the feed holes, made them a little smaller. It's... Hard getting the as to stay, but they are. This new setup is working even better... It's actually been feeding, than draining back into the tank after, like a bottom feeder. The PERFECT. Amount of juice each hit. You know that slight gurgle you get on a perfect drip? I'm getting that every hit. I'll update when I have to refill, and when it's time to clean. But WOW
