its actually metering at 1.4 ohms and i cant get it to go past 3.5v on the provari. someone on the HH 357 thread stated it may be because it at 2.5 amps already. idk. its frustrating. its THE BEST ATOMIZER i have ever tried. and works perfectly on my manual VV box mods and ego but those are my back up devices and I love my PROVARI.

maybe not because of the cutoff amp level. i still may not achieve the wattage i desire. i would like to be at atleast 9'ish watts

If or when the 2.0 ohm .357 becomes available, you will definitely be able to get to your desired wattage. You will be able to use it on the ProVari at upto 5V which will give you over 12 watts, if you want to go that high. Right now you are at 8.75 watts with 1.4 ohm set at 3.5V.

Just remember, ProVari was never created as a PV for LR atties. So, there is nothing wrong with your ProVari and there is nothing wrong with your .357 atty. They are simply not made for each other. You really don't even know how great your atty is yet until you use it the way it was intended to be used. You are driving a Ferrari on a highway at 60 mph... :)
