HH .357+provari

So i got my provari in today, and i love it. I am trying to break in my HH .357 atty but I do not know which would be the best voltage to use it on. It is a 3.0 OHMS atty.

i think with 3 ohms you can pretty much use at whatever voltage you want. its all probably juice dependent and at the end of the day comes down to your own preference.

I usually start around 4v and work my way up the scale in 0.2 increments. Once the voltage becomes to much I usually drop back between 0.2 and 0.4v depending on what I like the best.

oh yeah, and you should report back on how you like it. I have been thinking about getting an atty to drip with and I have heard some good things about the hh357.

At 3ohms ~5.5volts will give you ~10.1watts, sweet spot should be around 5.5volts.
A good voltage starting point for any atty/carto:
Ohms reading + 2 volts and go up from there.

that's great advice tobarger! opi21, if you've only used 3.7V devices that the 3.0 Ohm hh.357 and 5.0V might even be a little high, but i think it is a great baseline to start. if you like less heat then lower the voltage, if you crave more then increase--monitor the taste of the juice and be aware of any burnt tastes--you might then have to back off. every juice will tend to have some minor differences, especially if they are different PG/VG blends, straight PG, or straight VG. i have heard great things about the hh. 357, have a couple on the way so we will be experimenting at the same time!

Yea ok I will keep that in mind. I'm about 5.2 with the HH. Im using 4.5 with my LR atty I have left over. The provari is amazing. I was using the same atty on the ego and I felt that it was getting weaker and weaker (ive been vaping for a year+). Popped it into the provari, and damn, just like new but even harder hitting. And to imagine, I almost backed out at the last second when buying it due to price. I do have another question for you guys though. When charging the batteries, is it better to supervise it or can I just leave it on overnight while I sleep? Oh, and also, will the battery continue to slowly drain if im not vaping and the provari master off switch isn't activated?

i would DEFINITELY SUPERVISE the battery! you don't want the battery to overcharge; as soon as the light turns green i would pull the battery out. if i am at my computer for two or three hours i tend to leave it on and have not noticed any major discharge of the battery. that being said, i do turn it off when i leave my computer (pretty much the only time i chain vape during the day).

patch's advice is a good baseline, but most chargers over a certain quality threshold will stop charging when full. All batteries will self discharge and drain over time, I'm not sure what kind of parasitic draw the ProVari has but it seems really small. I don't think the Po setting really does anything but turn off the atomizer activation.

It's very important to be aware of the risks of rechargeable batteries; which ones to use, how to charge them, etc. Batteries will explode and have exploded causing serious injuries if used incorrectly, so please educate yourself at the link above.

I do think the Provari is one of the safest mods available due to the built in protections. However, it can't stop a battery from venting if it's damaged, overcharged, etc. (Some chargers like the Pila and Xtar provide superior regulation over others.)

Will def check it out. I have been supervising the batt charge and will continue to do so. I remember hearing a story about a dude having an E-cig explode in his mouth causing severe damage from a mod. And this is my first mod. . So I was scared as hell the first couple of hours using it lmao. Altough he came out super rich out of it, I value my teeth and eating.
