Trower is excellent! I'm jealous you got to see him Chak. He knows his way around a guitar.

I do miss James Dewar's singing though (Dewar sings of the Too Rolling Stoned vid). RIP. He had a unique voice...great blues voice. These new guys don't cut it.

Loved that concert and yes, Dewar's voice was fantastic - I believe he's singing on the Lady Love song too, but looks like you'll have to click the link to You Tube to see it.

I agree. Jimmy Dewar left us too soon.

I don't know what it is about Bridge of Sighs, but I can listen to that song over and over. There's something mystical about it to me.

It's really hard to imagine that Robin was with Procol Harum originally. Their style and his seem so incongruous. "Whiskey Train" was the only Procol Harum song that seemed to be more Robin's style.

Bruno Mars' Mother just died so I thought I'd post one of my favorite songs lately. Yeah, it's probably considered Top 40 but I love it. He is investing in njoy brand I believe and promised his Mom he would quit smoking so I thought it was fitting. I have been singing this song for weeks now and my beloved cat who just passed away loved me singing it to her. My son loves it too...and my Mom was over here the day we buried her and I sang it that day and she loved it (she never sees this side of me). For another great version you can look up the version he sang on Ellen's show (I just discovered it tonight). This song makes me cry because I love the simple awesome voice with just piano which is my favorite instrument.

Well, recording can be done pretty fast.

We took 2 full days to record drums and guitars live, 2 to 4 takes for each song.
Vocals were recorded over several weeks, on track at a time.

Actually, the longest and hardest part is mixing and mastering.

And we had a hard time picking the album art. I had to create like 15 different design.

It took us 6 months from first recording session to the final product, but we all have jobs, and we were not hurried.

I'm going to post these 2 songs due to the posts I've been reading lately in the main thread. I don't have a preference for music. If I like a song then I like it. I don't care who wrote it or who sings it. Maybe you've heard them maybe not. I hope no one is offended by the one song. I not a religious person but it does make me think. As for the other well it does also. I could put them in the main thread but I think here is better. Those that wish to can find them here. Enjoy.
