I had a strange experience with it. I generally don't like tobacco flavors, but I had to try it. Tried and hated it, so I put the rest of the bottle in my tackle box and forgot about it.
2 weeks later, testing a new coil, I had to drip something on it, so I grabbed that. It's amazing! Vaped the rest of the bottle in the next few hours, now I have to order more

That's often the way it is with some ejuices and tobaccos especially. They need steep time for flavors to "bloom".
Weird thing is that the fruity juices that I DYI usually have the opposite effect. They taste like burnt socks after about 3 weeks. The first 2 weeks are very nice though
Often a single fruit flavor doesn't need to steep. However, I have not known of one to change like you describe over time, myself. I wonder, could it be a certain brand of ingredients you are using? Not all flavorings, nic, PG and VG are of the same quality. You might want to discuss this with others in the DIY forum.
Dragon's Fire doesn't get the press, nor the sheer amount of fan raves, that Gandalf receives (in all of its versions, including Serendipity).
Personally, I like Dragon's Fire a bit more than Gandalf, not that anyone else cares (or should care).

I agree, in fact, and nothing against Gandalf which is good juice, but I prefer not only Dragon's Fire, but Pirate's Booty, and Shadowfax over Gandalf.
Man I will REALLY have to try these others very soon! Have you tried gollum, and if so, what is your opinion?
Hey IowaJosh, always glad to see a fellow Iowan (transplant here actually) on the boards. If you haven't already you should join the Iowa Vapers Group. Where in Iowa? Always on the lookout from someone in my neck of the woods vaping, it's rare!
Gollum is quite different. The chimp hates it, at least I think he still hates it. I love it. The one and only HHV tobacco in the Purity line that I don't care for is Oompa. It's still vapable, but it's just not that good to me. Though, others in the HHV thread say they really like it.
I don't hate Gollum, but I keep him hidden away in the back of the closet so we don't argue.
Smooth tobacco with a dab of plum topping and a waft of chocolate. Dis am good.
