I would point out that, despite what your taste buds say, there's no chocolate in Dragon's Fire. :)

Ditto.

No chocolate whatsoever. But it sure is a great juice. I recently ordered a 30mil bottle of it. I tried my friends DF sample a month ago but she is using a wimpy 510-t and I know I loved it on her 510 so I'm excited to try it on a real set-up. Lol

Am I the only one who thought Gollum was dreadful? I am a huge tobacco lover and admire many tobacco/fruit combos but I can't get into Gollum. Now I admit I've only ever tried it when I have stolen a puff or two from my sister when she first got it and a few weeks later after it steeped but both times It tasted like incense sticks to me. And when I smell her vaping it it smells oddly similar to ferrets.

But I promise I'm not knocking HHV by any means. My all day vape is Gandalf and I've never vaped a single juice from them other than Gollum that I wasn't instantly impressed with.

No, you're not the only person who doesn't like Gollum. I haven't tried Gollum myself, but I can assert with as much certainty as I can imagine ever feeling that no juice has ever or will ever be made that is universally loved or even liked by everyone.

The converse might not be true, however. I can easily imagine a juice that everyone hates.

But even the most wildly popular juices have their detractors, probably in numbers larger than their fans might assume, since people tend to post more about juices they love then juices they hate. One reason we see less negative posts about popular juices is that some overly-rabid fans sometimes show a marked tendency to be hyper-defensive about juices they love, often shouting down anyone who casts a negative vote. Obviously, that varies widely and can be minimized at least to some extent by carefully diplomatic wording of posts, but we do see that kind of "lynch mob" mentality on ECF as everywhere else in human society---especially in-groups, where dissent may be considered heresy.

Rest assured that your disliking Gollum doesn't strand you on a desert island all alone or sentence you to solitary confinement on Death Row. LOL. Knowing that others love Gollum might cause you to "suspend your own disbelief" and vape it from time to time just to see if the juice's flavor changes, or if your palate changes. On the other hand, you can also choose just put it away for good, pour it down the drain, sell the juice on the classifieds, or PIF it to someone else if you wish. Life is too short to vape juice we don't like, and finally, the open person we have to please in vaping is ourselves.

Seth, I happen to like Gollum, and everyone likes what they like, and you are OK to not like it.

But that line about smelling like ferrets just made me crack up hysterically. Thanks dude :)

LOL, that gives me an image of a bunch of ferrets vaping away on their little PVs, when another joins the party and asks, "What are you guys vaping?" They all reply in a chorus of squeaky voices:

"GOLLUM--GOLLUM--GOLLUM!!!"

"Well, no wonder it smells like ferrets in here!"

Well I guess my ferret comparison was the hit of the show. Lol ;)

I actually plan on getting a small bottle of Gollum to retry. Gollum was headache worthy but not vomit worthy by any means. I actually explained it as a port wine with incense sticks. But that can change. I tend to have to own a whole bottle of a juice so I can grow with it on an intimate level(cause when I get that feelin'...). That's what happened when I tried dark horse. That's actually what's happening now that I'm trying Casablanca. I have a sinus infection and all I taste is wood, grass, and pepper. :(

I hope my taste comes back soon and that this isn't what Casablanca is really like. I was so excited about Casablanca. I have been searching for a turkish tobacco forever. I'd hate for this to be another dud. :/

I don't know about Gollum, but Dragon's Fire is yum :D

Yes it sure is. I'm eagerly waiting for my HHV order. Anyone try black and blue yet? I added a bottle of it to my order after watching one of funkyvapes videos. He made the juice seem so good and watching him vape it on a Provari made me determined for it to be my first Provari vape when I get my mini. Here's hoping HHV gets here before Christmas.

Personally, I haven't detected a chocolate flavor in Dragon's Fire. To me, it's just an all-round, solid semisweet tobacco. Now Oompa, on the other hand, that flavor is carrying some strong chocolatey goodness.

I got that peppery, woodsy taste at first with Casa. Then one day I was drinking coffee and picked up the Casa, and all of a sudden a bunch of interesting yet previously undetected flavors were revealed. After that Casa became a favorite flavor for me.

I had a strange experience with it. I generally don't like tobacco flavors, but I had to try it. Tried and hated it, so I put the rest of the bottle in my tackle box and forgot about it.

2 weeks later, testing a new coil, I had to drip something on it, so I grabbed that. It's amazing! Vaped the rest of the bottle in the next few hours, now I have to order more :)

I will have to pick it up again. I ordered it along with Gandalf in my first HHV order, and while I have reordered the Gandalf several times, I probably never gave the DF the chance it deserves and it's still sitting mostly untouched. Time to break it out again.

Personally, I get honey from DF, but I'm fairly sure there's no honey in it either. :)

I would guess you will be pleasantly suprised Dant. The first time I bought Dragon's Fire I tried it immediately, at two weeks and then at a month and a half. The first two times I didn't think anything of it and was frankly disappointed. The last time it was like someone had emptied the bottle and put something entirely different and better in the bottle.
