Brother Bob Thank you so much for the links I will definitely read them. I have been researching diff batts tonight and going to different web sites and reviews and came across two Inspires the CF Sub Ohm and the CF VV..lol..now I need to find out what the heck a Sub is..lmao...this will keep my hands and mind very busy..lol..thanks again I appreciate it very much..Denise
I would stay away from sub ohm'g if you have budget concerns. Big clouds = more juice consumed = more $. My guess is sub Ohm'g requires twice or more the amount of juice consumed vs 2.0 Ohms vaping.
My non sub ohm happy place is around 2.0 Ohms. I vape for flavor and moderate clouds.

Good..Glad I read your post first..lol..Was just about to research Sub ohms vs ohms..and just like you, the flavor is a lot more important to me than huge clouds..I am looking at the Joyetech AIO sounds like it's right up my alley..thanks again for the info..Denise

Welcome back dear! Coming back from a hiatus myself. Very sorry to hear of your losses, I can't imagine!

But I do understand things not working well, I suffer from chronic pain myself. I'm loaded up on some of the strongest pain killers known to man right now.
But it sounds like you are in the same boat as I am, you "need" that instant gratification and regular ejuice just doesn't get you there! Look at some NET juices, Naturally Extracted Tobacco. Heather's has some decent choices. If you REALLY want the taste of an analog, go with some Dark horse. I am a huge tobacco fan, but it's even too much for me! I had to step down to the Dragon's fire, it's still a strong tobacco, with a bit of (to me at least) dark chocolate. Others say it's a sweet chocolate, so it's subjective. But it's smoother, and I can vape it. The Dark horse, I'm choking it down!
I'm at 36mg, again with the pain thing, I can go anywhere from 1-5 plus packs a day when the weather is changing around here.
Also get ready to do a lot of research! Man has the gear changed in a short amount of time! I remember complaining about all the issues that sub-ohm vaping was bringing on, not EVERYTHING is set up that way! It's very hard to find much that's "old school" vaping, meaning mouth to lung, or MTL, as it's called now.
Good luck going forward, and I'll be more than happy to help you get going, but as I say, I'm learning it all over again myself!
Hi ..Thanks so much for the warm welcome and much needed info and suggestion. Esp MTL have seen it didn't know what the hell it stood for, but now I do..mouth to lung...and what about this new thing now, the straight to the lungs, skipping the mouth???..LMAO...When I stopped vaping I was using the KGO..I still have the box, and in it was the little paper with the person's id, and the date of when it was boxed and checked for quality, the date is: May 9, 2013, how ironic is that ..lol..Anyways, my point being: I loved the purple batt..lol..the button, and all that jazz, it didn't have all the bells and whistles that the new batts have nowadays, (but you don't miss what you don't have or know about)in my case anyway..lol..The one thing that I hated, hated was the leakage from the Tanks with the bottom coils. I believe also thats when they bottom coils came out around that time..Cause I was using the cartridges, blank ones, and then I found the clearomizers and said goodbye to blank and prefilled cartridges..lol..I even learned how to change, I forget what their called now, but within the tank, you could screw off the little thing and replace it for like .99 or so, which makes the tanks reusable, which I love due to finances not so great ..I am actually waiting on SS Disability due to my back issues, won't get into that cause its not about vaping but anyways, thats where I left off, and it looks like a huge gigantic leap back for me..lol..Again thanks so much for the warm welcome and info..Denise

Not to spoil the party, but I do like to remind people that some of the latest tube/battery e-cigs (as good and popular as they are) are not variable power, they just vape at the power 'set' by the resistance and the battery.
Sometimes this is fine, other's not quite so good.

The AIO will offer a nice vape in the 30 watt region to start. The Kanger subvod is set to 3.7v so works a bit different. Both are excellent.

The AIO has a direct output, meaning you start at close to 30w and finish off down around 17w.
The subvod starts at 27w and stays there until the battery can't do it. In reality, it's more like 24 watts, as I have tested it numerous times.

Both those powers are quite do-able with the right nicotine and PG/VG. Both will use considerably more e-liquid than an old tech eGo.

The Endura is a lower power choice (14w) and the iJust2 is a monster at getting towards 60 watts.

All these are labelled 'kits' (battery tube and tank) and sometimes 'beginner' devices. Personally speaking, I think extra power is fine until it's not... some people really struggle to vape at higher power.

I love them all (well, I don't love the iJust2) but it's taken me 3 years to enjoy vaping at above 20w.

Ok now, see this is where I get really messed up re: vaping..it's about the wattage, voltage, and ohms, low resistance, high resistance, and it's gets discouraging when ya can't figure it out, and then ya give up(well I do)
Another, very important, thing I forgot to mention, and this is a 'biggie', hope you all can forgive me :( is this:
Back in the day PG was used the majority of the time, and using VG only was like rare and no where to be found, but I did. So what I'm trying to say is I was using all VG juice, which I found at Virgin Vapor, I can't remember I think it was Red Oak juice, organic hazelnut and Vanda which was vanilla..thats the only two juices I used..so it got boring for me ...anyways, the Phillip Rocke Grand Reserve I'm using is 80VG/20PG and I seem to be handling that mixture quite well. What used to happen to me when I started vaping was I would get very very hot, and sweaty, profusely like I would need to carry a wet/damp face cloth in my purse..lol...
Anyways, I no that this is gonna have a lot to do with the flavor and clouds when I vape now.
So, any info /suggestions would be greatly appreciated..
For me I think I would like to go with a batt I'm comfortable with right now..nothing complex..now the variable voltage batts and all that stuff I will need some help with that. OMG, I am already getting overwhelmed just thinking about it..lol...If this helps I believe I will be going with the AIO Joyetech..is this ok..I believe its 1500mah??? I think. I dont know...anyways thats it..Denise :/

VG liquid is just fine in all the new tanks, have no fear.

I tried not to confuse, only point out that when you use higher power kit drops in battery power are really noticeable when you vape.
I'm not saying one is better than the other, only the Joyetech batteries (unless I am wrong) drop in power so they start strong and go down as you vape through the day. The Kanger Subvod batteries do not.

.. and also to point out that ALL these batteries/kits will use a lot more e-liquid and e-liquid is not cheap once you start going through it 3 times as fast as a KGO or eGo battery.

If I was buying and money was a concern, I'd opt for a tank that works great at half the power and use higher nicotine if necessary. Subohm is an expensive occupation. Given the liquid you mention, a very expensive way to vape.

Just like @salemgold just said, the gear is so much better now, it's insane all the things you can do!
Most all juice vendors will mix up whatever ratio you want now days.
Variable devices allow us to dial in for what we like. Remember how hard it was back in the day having to find the cartomizers, or coils in the resistance you wanted? I always liked 1.5-1.7 ohm catro's and it seemed you had to be online at the right moment to be able to get them! It was such a nightmare! Then if you couldn't get what you wanted, you had to suffer through with what you could get! Variable devices allow us to use what we have, or can get our hands on, and make it work more better for our needs! They are nice! I still use mech devices, but I rebuild for all my atties so I can make what I want and be happy. But now days we don't have the supply problems we had then. You can walk into most any vape shop and buy coils and vape away!
If you are a true MTL vapor and want easy to use, easy to change coils I'll recommend the Aspire Nautilus tank. Incredible flavor, easy to swap the coils and fill, and a decently tight draw that is adjustable. Look on youtube and watch the vids. This will lead you to other atties that you can look at as well.
As for devices, that's a hot mess! There are so many out, most reasonably priced, that it's hard to suggest just one! I just picked up and Istick Pico, I love it! Single 18650 that's replaceable, 75 watts, supports temerature control for SS, Ti, Ni etc. All this for around $40!
I'm not a big fan of internal batteries, but that's just me, others have had better experiences than I have.
So read the forums, figure out what you think you might like, then watch some reviews on youtube, keep in mind a lot of the reviewers seem to be "bought and paid for", so watch several on the same device to get a balanced opinion. I find this helps me a lot in making my choices. How hard is it to get through the modes, to set it up, to make minor adjustments and just use in general? The determine if you want to work that hard to use it or not! Size was a huge factor for me, that's why I went with the Pico, all the added features and ease of use where just icing on the cake!
Take your time, chose wisely, then in a few months when the next wiz bang device comes out, wallow in misery about you lack of features, and how much cheaper it is, like the rest of us!

"A returning oldie / newbie " caught my eye ... that's me too ! 4 years since I was last here & for very similar reasons as yours ... I lost my dad & my stepson this last year & my husband has been very ill & I am handicapped since Dec ... so I understand where you have been ... good for you for pulling yourself up & out of the dark place & realizing that there still are good reasons to be present for & to rekindle the joy ! I get it ... I really do ... struggling myself with it still though having my daughter & grand daughter keep me going . Hugs to you ! You can quit the analogs for good ! If I can do it so can anyone as I have a deficiency of self control in general , ha ! I quit gradually over a few months overlapping the analogs & the e-cigs . When I was down to 3 analogs / day I knew I could go the rest of the distance . I remember distinctly that last analog i said goodbye to and have never looked back . Never smoked again ( well I might have cheated once but it was so awful I never did again ! ) My lungs feel so much clearer & my sense of smell so much better ... I just love NOT being a smoker anymore ! Some day I may want to give up the e-cigs too but for now I still need a crutch . Hope you find the right set up for you & go for it ! Rah rah !

Thank you so much for your encouraging words and support, its very kind of you..Ive been doing a lot of research and watching a lot of videos on YouTube regarding all the new stuff thats out nowadays and I think that the Joyetech AIO will be right for me, seeing how I did love my KGO and thats what i was using until I stopped vaping..
Also, I am so so sorry for your loss as well..And peeps say it will get better as time goes by..nope don't think so..lol...It just gets easier to tolerate but the pain and heartbreak is always there, we just learn how to deal with it better as time goes by...Hugs right back at cha..Denise

Brother Bob..I am confused. Is the Joyetech AIO a sub or not?? Another thing is clicked on the link for it it brought me to the website I got through all the way to checking out but then it asks about what option for the shipping do I want. There is like 7 different opts that range from 7.00 - 20.00 dollars...????...It talks about customs and taxes and the whole nine yards...lol...This is a first for me..I live in the USA and they usually ship it thru UPS, USPS, or Fed Ex...I need your help on this one...lol..Thanks..Denise

Whew..Thank God for that!!! ..lol...Cause I know in the old days, vaping VG was not at all easy to do because some of the tanks just did not like all VG at all..so thank you for that bit of info it makes it easier on me..lol
And regarding batteries going down in power and such I just got done watching a video and he talked about regulated batts and unregulated batts, which means reg ones have same amt of power from beginning of charge right up until the end of charge, and vise versa for unregulated..he stated that he did not notice much of difference with the Joy AIO, even its unregulated..so I think I will go with that one..

If you haven't already gone with the AIO...you might want to check out the little Eleaf iStick Mini 10watt Mods. I have several of them and absolutely love them! They're really tiny, yet definitely provide enough power, and they recharge pretty quickly. They're variable volts little mods, easy-peasy to use, etc. Like you, I was mainly on tube batteries (eGo 1100mAh ones) before getting any sort of mod. When I hit upon the little Mini 10w, and loved it...I bought a bunch more to put back for friends and others I'm helping to transition from smoking to vaping. Everyone so far has loved them, too!

I was just on DesertVapes.com again last night...ordering more coils and other things to stash away. While there, I saw that she has the whole Eleaf Mini iStick 10w kit (the mod, adapter, & USB charger cord) for Less than $20! Think it was $19.75 or $19.95 to be exact. She also has a bunch of different clearomizers and/or other tanks are really terrific sale prices if you need 1 or 2.

I'm authorized to pass along a coupon code for 10% off on your first order...if you'd like to go take a look and maybe get something there. Code is 1storder10, good for only 1 time use...obviously.

Here's a link to it on Desert Vapes:
iStick 10w Kit

It comes in Blue, Black, and Silver as well!

Or...VaporEngine.com has a terrific Blowout Sale going on, too! They still have a few of the Evod Double Starter Kits (2 650mAh batteries, 2 Evod tanks, 5 coils for the tanks, USB charger + wall charger) for....$7.00 per kit now! They may now only have them in yellow, but...$7.00 for 2 whole ecigs + 5 coils...is really hard to beat! They're a terrific company, too, and I've bought many times from them as well.

Well like usual I was anxious and just went and ordered a Joyetech AIO..and got it for 16.99 + 5.00/shipping the website is out of Texas, or WA or is it CA? lol..anyways the website is: Vape NW ..I went to the Joyetech website too expensive 25.00 for the same thing and same items that come with kit...but anyways if I'm not happy with it, with the price I paid I can always just try out the others that you all have suggested to me..
I want to thank you so much for all the warm welcomes I'm getting and all the info and suggestions you all have helped me tremendously..I appreciate it so very much.. :)

0.1~1.0 ohms are sub ohm coils. 1.0-and higher are non sub ohm coils. Best check which ohm coils your getting. Could ship USPS for best postal rates. Suggest you study and read a lot more.
Hi Bob..Oh well, I just jumped...LMAO..Hopefully it will be a smooth landing and one without a lot of rocks and weeds..lol...Went for the Joyetech AIO paid 16.99 + 5.00/shipping from www.vapenw.com it's in the USA. So if it doesn't satisfy my needs I can always get something else since I didn't spend to much money on this kit...Thank you so so much Bob for everything I appreciate it very much... :)
