Hi Folks! This is my first post, so please be kind...

I started vaping over 8 weeks ago and my first buy was the Diamond Mist Premium E-cigarette Twin Pack.

These were surprisingly good for me, and I've been happy enough with them. I haven't touched a cigarette for over 8 weeks! :D

Anyways, the MT3 clearomizers I got with the kit both started leaking so I looked about for replacement clearomizers.

Today, one of my orders, the Justfog 1453 arrived.

It looked good, so I filled it up with some e-liquid and gave it a blast. But for some reason, I cannot get a draw as there seems to be next to no airflow? I have tried loosening the tank from the battery (as far as it wobbles) and I can get a very, very faint draw.

Does anyone have any experience of this type of problem and/or any advice to remedy this?

OK, so it's a 510, so the base is essentially a kind of "skirt" to tidy up the look on a regular battery.

Let's say you puff (draw) on it without even pressing the fire button. Can you work out how the air gets into the tank?

Are there a few small holes, or cut-out channels anywhere? It's definitely designed to go on eGo batteries, not mods from what I can tell.

Here's 2 thoughts.

Is it possible you have pushed down the centre pin on your battery, over time, and are now tightening the tank down so far you've cut off the air?

The specifications say the tank has a "floating pin", this is quite unusual (?) and maybe you kept screwing the tank on when it had already connected, and now gone too far?

Maybe you should contact Justfog and ask if there's anything different in their own batteries that would be causing airflow issues on your Diamond Mists.

Not everything is 100% compatible with everything and 1mm can make the difference between no air and some air... on some systems.

Your old tanks were EGO thread? or the same "skirt" style (fake eGo look but using the 510?).

I had a LOT of trouble over the years with skirted 510s. We could do with some help here....

The floating pin on the new tank is still "springy", so I'm assuming I haven't broken it?

My old tanks were MT3 EVOD Clearomizers which screwed on using the outer thread of the battery. Whereas my new tank screws on using the inner thread of the battery. (Does this make sense to you?)

I have also noticed that the skirt on the new tank is about 2mm longer. So I reckon although it seems to fit perfectly, it's actually too "airtight".

I'll probably buy a Justfog battery so I can use this tank as I liked the look of it! Or alternatively, do you think a "510 THREAD TO EGO ADAPTOR" could work?

I'm wondering if there are any other types of clearomizer that would be compatible with my Diamond Mist battery other than MT3 EVOD Clearomizers?

Thanks for all your input, it is very much appreciated!

If you bought a 510-eGo adapter, it would probably work but look a little crazy. Potentially, you'd then need a beauty ring too.

To be honest, almost every tank on the market is going to work perfectly well with a standard eGO battery. You just managed to stumble upon something a little off the beaten track. It could be a great tank, but if they have done something strange with the fitting, you might be in trouble. YOU DO NEED TO ASK THEM really.

I would go further and suggest maybe not to get into buying a load of stuff from Justfog. If you want to try a battery and see if that makes a nice stand-alone pairing, then OK, that's cool. Other than that, paying $20 for a 650mAh battery is not usually an acceptable price (at UK rates).
They hardly quality for the DJSvapour rant about rip-off prices,(they are NOT that) but they are certainly selling some left-field products which I would personally be wary of.

Perhaps more to the point, I'm 99% sure their batteries are universal (eGo / 510) so if you bought a battery and the tank still didn't seem to work great, the battery should be usable.

It's all a bit strange.
