Decided to join ECF after lurking here for a few weeks, impressed with the information contained within this site, so i'll introduce myself

I'm Skree. I'm a habitual modifier of things, all things. complete nerd, ideas man, electron pusher and mechanic by training, can be tactless, intellectually arrogant, smart-arsed, unsubtle and blunt but i believe in helping and being good with and to all people. My interests are EVERYTHING

Hope i can get 5 posts in this thread without posting any more irrelevant witterings, i don't really have any new user type questions to ask, and i want to discuss things and share what little knowledge and the ideas i have in other parts of the forum(it's why i signed up). I'm not arguing with the rule at all, a big part of me (the internet admin of over a decade part) thinks it's a good idea (and i am fully aware it is not my place to do so), it did make me feel a bit alienated and unwanted, as a new user to this forum though
