Hi everyone! My first thread/post, wanted to introduce myself and say how much this forum has helped me switch over. I smoked for over 8 years and thought I'd never quit till 2 weeks ago when I went into a local b&m and bought a eleaf tc40w and a herakles sub ohm tank with some e-juice. I was blown away by how much I enjoyed it but I can't seem to find a flavor of e-juice I truly love. I was wondering if ordering a sample box off vape wild would be the best way to go or are there better site's to order from? Also any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! And finally I was wondering how often you should change coils? Sometimes I'll get a burnt taste if I set the temp or wattage to high but will go away if I lower it, I'm just wondering if I will def know when to switch them out? Ok I know this was a large first post lol, sorry. Any help would be very helpful thank you everyone.

Btw I just ordered a ipv4s online very excited to get that lol

Welcome to ECF Jvincent, make yourself right at home :)
Samples are a good way to find a flavor you like, best if you have a local B&M you can visit to try out several new flavors before you buy.
As for changing your coils it just depends on a number of factor's ... you probably will know by taste or lack of vapor production.
Good luck and enjoy the journey ;)

Another thing to remember is that if you are fresh off smoking your taste buds will change over the next few months. I had to start with a cinnamon/green apple, then fruits, then bakery, and now creams. If you get a juice you don't like from a sample pack hold on to it, a few weeks later it might be great to you.

Thanks for the replies, I've been going to a couple b&m's to try a few flavors and I've noticed some taste allot different when I get home and try them on my mod. Tbh there's not very good selection when it comes to places to buy e-juice where I live, so I was going to try an online vendor. Thanks again for the help, everyone here seems very helpful and nice!

    This^^^^

My tastes really changed after a couple of months. Unfortunately I was so excited when I started that I stocked up on that first liquid that I liked...like 20 bottle stocked up. Then I didn't like it so much. Then I hated it. Lesson learned.

Samples are a great way to go at first and also small batches from a B&M where you can sample a bunch of flavors. Soon (like 6 months) you may find your ultimate all day vape. For me that turned out to be unflavored liquid.

There's a relatively new vendor called Vape Moar that has a Super Sampler special, 15 ml bottles of all 10 flavors for $20. Individual bottles are $3 for 15ml, $20 for 120ml.

I've tried it myself -- actually, I'm working my way through it now. Some of the flavors I've loved, a few (menthol) not so much. it might be a good way to try a variety of things, especially for the price.

There's a thread here at ECF with some reviews.

What nic level are you using? Samples in store are 0 nic and will taste different Alot of times once nic is added. Also since using the herakles tank, subohm will taste different than a pen style sampler, it will be stronger at home.

I started with 12mg but also tried 18mg but that was a little strong. So that's why they taste different when I get home, wow thank you.
Well, you seem to be off to a booming start, so I'll just say welcome to the board :)
    Thank you!
