A question from a sad analog smoker.

I just placed an order for a 510 from the smoke safe. I've been smoking pretty heavily for 3 years and I'm excited for the opportunity to move to vaping. I'm guessing many of you made the switch at some point or you wouldn't be vaping in the first place. I've recently started really feeling my habit in my lungs and chest. I'm getting winded easily and I'm only 23. I was just wondering if switching to e-cigarettes helped to alleviate any of your nasty side-effects from analogs.

hey solo welcome to the forums! i have been vaping for 9 days and breathing has gotten a little better, not coughing as bad and dont stink anymore. my lady is happy about that last one! all in all i feel pretty damn good after only 9 days.

I used to get winded just walking up the stairs at the train station, now I can run up the stairs at the train station and not be winded at all.

Definitely. I have been vaping for around 3 weeks and I noticed today that I haven't been coughing for a while. I used to cough quite a bit when smoking the analogs.

I think the biggest health benefit that I've noticed is my total lack of a smoker's cough. 30 years, 2+ packs a day, and I'd wake up some mornings coughing so badly it felt like I was trying to hack up my lungs. 8-o That is but a distant memory now.

I've also noticed that I can take deeper breaths.

Now when I do the treadmill, I stop because my legs are tired . . . not because I can't breathe.

I've only been vaping for a few weeks now. With my pen style I have not smoke an analog in 4 days and my husband says my snoring has gotten a LOT better. Apparently he doesn't need to wear his earplugs at night anymore .

That will probably depend on what strength nic you ordered, and how vaping it affects you compared to cigs. Also, plan to lose some juice just from being new to it. There IS a learning curve.

With 10mls, I would definitely say order some more, but possibly wait until you try the juice you ordered. If you hate it, it would suck to end up with a ton of it.

Hi Solong and congrats on your 510 purchase! I ordered mine from thesmokesafe and it was right about 48 hours from the time I pushed the order button until it was delivered to my house so judging from your initital post, yours should be arriving very soon!

Hi!!! Today is my first day vaping. I ordered my yeti510 from the smokesafe last thursday and it arrived yesterday. IMHO very fast shipping. I am LOVING it! While I was waiting for my order I read as much as I possibly could through this forum, to tide me over and to learn about maitenance/upkeep/anything else you can think of. It is definately a bit different from analogs, but you get used to it fairly quickly. My advise is to start thinking about how you want to carry it around, and to look at upkeep etc (i.e. not letting the atomizer run dry so it doesn't burn itself out among other things... but trial and error is good too ). I am still learning about this, but again, I'm loving it so far!

I was at 2.5 packs a day for almost 13 years. I have been smoke free for 35 days now and loving it. My lungs already feel better. I can actually play sports again without curling over. We'll for a little bit that is.

Best decision I have ever made.

I smoked 15 to 20 a day for the last 11 years (I'm 29) and never have any problems playing squash, running, or any other physical activity.

I'd say you probably need to do more physical exercise altogether if you're getting winded easily.
