I have started looking into the lager mods and have been considering purchasing the icon 1.1. Is this a good choice? Is there anything similar to the Icon that would be a better choice?

I have been using a 510 for about 6 months. I looked into the prodigy but don't think I would ever use the 6 volt feature and like the idea of the smaller icon.

Thanks

I would have to agree that if you want better performance and the most flexibility, then a variable volt PV is the way to go. But if you are set on a single voltage, then I would check out the 5 volt GLV2 from Great Lakes Vapor. Probably one of the best.

For variable volt, the one that could easily be the last PV you ever buy is the Darwin from Welcome to NHaler!. It is a "leap" forward in technology. The ease of use and consistency is outstanding and I have used many better devices as a comparison point. Plus it holds a charge for up to 48 hours and comes with a 2 year warranty.

x2 on both of the above posts. just to add on to those you really need to look at what you think you would like in the way of, which battery you think will work and last the best for your needs whether that be at 3.7 or 6v which yo ualready stated you dont want to use. for me the 18650 mods are a little bigger but seem to perform the best and also last the longest. you also need to look at the button location as the icon has the bottom button that you use with your pinky. if you dont thikn that would work then look for one such as the glv2 of a silver bullet or omega or bb or something that has a thumb type button.
WELCOME by the way and keep posting we are here to help

If you've been vaping 6 months on a 510, have you ever tried any of the higher voltage PV ?
The icon would be a 3.7v, as opposed to the 3.2v from a 510, definitely a warmer vape.

Trying a 5v pass through would be a cheaper way to try even higher V than an Icon, see if
it's your sweetspot??

I have a Provape PV-1 3.7v, and love it, 5v is too hot for my liking and with the mod I can
still use a LR atty for a little more warmth when I feel like it.
PV-1 uses the same 14500 battery as an icon so it would be somewhat similar, and has
many very nice and automatic safety features. YMMV
