I'm soooo glad that there is a christian forum here! I don't mind mixing it up with non christians, but I don't like seeing or being involved in those horrible battles w/ atheists that I see on other forums.
I've just ordered my Riva starter kit and can't wait til it arrives!!
I have concerns that it may be too late to get into this because of the government going to be outlawing it, and I was hoping to get off of pv's as well as analogs ASAP, and it bothers me to see alot of folks still on pv's for years.
But this, as everything, will be how God wants it, and in His time, not mine. Being unemployed for nearly a year, I'm learning PATIENCE.
I yearn to get closer to God, and family, I feel tabacco has put a barrier between us.
Well, I'm not big on typing, so again, thank you all for being here and God bless.

I've been tobacco free since July '10. But, i'm not pv free. I pretty much quit coughing, I can smell better (sometimes I don't want to smell better) and taste better. I call my pv my 'peace pipe.' I have to look for it a few times a day and wish I could put a string around it and hang it on my neck. No such luck!

I have not smoked close to 9,000 analogs. I have not put tar and 4,000 carcinagens into my lungs, for 6 months. Do I still think analogs look good.....sometimes I do, but I've come too far to go back now and I honestly can't afford them anymore. So, with Jesus' help, I keep re-committing my pledge on the days and moments I get weak. It's only by Jesus' precious Grace that I've come this far. I told Jesus last May that I was out of control. My mom died of lung cancer due to smoking 16 months ago. She is with Jesus, now.....factoid, not wishful thinking. You see, we can't do anything apart from Jesus. All of life is about Jesus and our relationship with Him. Glory to God! So, all in all, I think He's pretty happy with me giving up tobacco, and I couldn't have done that without an e-cig. He knew what it would take, and I trust in Him! Now the nicotine level is a different story! One step at a time!!!

You won't find any battles like that here!! We do our best to see it doesn't happen. I'm all for witnessing and answering anyone's questions, but I draw the line at attempts to start heated debates, and cause trouble. I hope you'll feel comfortable and welcome here!

Praise God and congratulations for getting your starter kit!! There are several organizations that are working hard to see that ecigs stay legal. I'm sure when the time is right, you will be ready to discard your PV without any problems. Many members of ECF just use 0mg nicotine e-juice. That's my goal, too.
I'm so sorry to hear you are unemployed!! And for a year! I can really relate to that right now. My husband lost his job about 3 weeks ago, without warning. But my Heavenly Father is providing for us, and will continue to do so—for you and your family as well—of that I have no doubt whatsoever! One door may be closed, but He will open others! AMEN!!

He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! (Hebrews 11:6) I believe He breaks down any barriers and makes a way for us to find Him. Praise God!!!!!!!
