Hi all!,
I've been vaping for several months, but still trying to figure out my DIY e-liquid. Right now my collection includes an ego-t 1100mAh battery, a Kanger EVOD tank, waiting on an ismoka Mega BCC and replacement coils for the EVOD -- both tanks suggested by friend, also have some cheap 510 cartos I think (4pk), random basic black drip tips and several TFA flavorings.
I mixed up an e-juice about 6ml peach flavoring but not sure what I did wrong or if I added enough flavoring. It tasted "flat". I think I had flavoring 20%.

I'd like help mixing up my e-liquid tonight if anyone out there could help me? I used Tod Muller's calculator but I want to make sure I did it right. I have ecigexpress' 18mg unflavored PG nicotine base (I bought it when I was just starting out, ordered a 36mg tonight), PG/VG 50/50 if needed, cappuchino flavoring from TFA, and not sure what my flavor % should be -- 22 or 25%, is that too high or do you'll use higher?
When I smoked, I smoked "occasionally" and one or two a week as a social smoker. I still get cravings since I picked the nasty habit back up so I'm trying to vape 100% of the time to get away from again.

Thank you kindly for any help :),

Thanks all! I'm reducing to 13% flavor. I have a question. Is there a calculator that let's me put in what PG/VG I want or should I just stick with the one I'm using (above)? I have ecigexpress' 18mg Unflavored PG Nicotine, some PG/VG 50/50. I was told to put my eliquid (I mix in a plastic bottle maybe 6ml total) into hot water until it gets room temp?

been DIY mixing for a few months now and that high a flavor concentrate would taste awful to me. trial and error for your particular taste will be your best guide. personally i use an average of 15% flavor to a 60/40 pg/vg base. good luck and welcome to the ECF!:D

Thank ya'll for the welcome and advice! Not sure how to input a pg/vg base..doesn't look like the calculator I'm using will let me. I was thinking of doing a 60/40 vg/pg ..my fiance got a lot of throat hit he said. I'd like for him to like vaping also, but he may need to get his own setup lol. I did order him a cheapie to start out with, just a regular old 510. We can upgrade if he starts vaping seriously.

I get my flavoring from Flavor West and my PG/VG from Mt Baker but flavoring can be subjective. What's not working for you today, you may decide to shelf it thinking it's not that great but then come back to it weeks later and find that it has steeped into something totally unexpected and flavorful or vice versa. Oil based flavors do not mix as well as distilled water base and if you can get organic flavoring along with pharmaceutical grade VG opposed to a food grade VG, you'll get a smoother better taste. I find those charts offer great guide lines but don't be afraid to experiment with a little of this or less of that according to your taste. And steep steep steep.
