Hi all,

like to say thanks for forum and brill info ive uncovered here as a lurker.

Im a seasoned box modder - that is with OKR t10 / T6 & dabbling with some mosfet mechs at mo.
Also looking to go lipo at a later date.

Im hoping someone can help with an issue i have - which also my friend has had to regarding above chip in title (okl2 t20)
Ive followed mamus basic wiring diagram exactly as far as i am concerned.
Ive got a great looking mod which ive had annodised and all ready except for one thing...its firing with button not pressed, press the button and it cuts it ??
Im not experienced with this chip i must admit, its my first build but im bamboozled.
Why is it doing this ? - can anyone advise ?
I found another diagram where the sense - was not connected...so i disconnected - still no joy.
Everything is back as per manus basic diagram...
My friend eventually located an OFF (on) on switch which allowed him to reverse wire but surely this chip is not limited to this type of switch..
Surely, a momentry on\off standard switch should work ?.
Im not using the fets either if that is relevant.

any help is most welcome.

Thanks
Rich

Hello and welcome to the forum Rich. Glad to have you here!:)

Can't help you as I am not a modder. Hopefully a modder is here and can weigh in.

Once you get in your first 5 posts (not 5 threads) and the server updates at :25 past the hour you will be able to post in the Modding Forum if your question doesn't get answered here.

Hi monkeyb0yuk and welcome to the forum!

I found the specs for that chip here:
OKL2-T/20-W12 Series

While I'm not an electrical engineer, it looks like there are two types of that chip, and perhaps you have the wrong one. There's also a URL to their support in the document that you can use to ask them about it.

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!
