I am new to this forum and also to E-cigerettes. Have been smoking for more than 30 years, and just changed to e-cig about one month ago as introduced from a friend. Got myself an eGo-C and now I have my first Vamo. I got a lot of info from this forum trying to find answers.

I just use it with a Kanger T3, not too much dry hit but sometimes some plastic taste. I only use between 3 to 3.5V cause the Vamo shows only 1.8 ohms resistance from the T3. Usually it taste funny when it is close to the bottom.

You might try a higher ohm, and higher voltage and that might smooth things out, depends on what juice you are using and the pg/vg ratio from what i have been reading. Two months for me after 20 years of the analogs, Congrats to You!
Its definitely becoming a hobby, as i have started DYI, now i have a laboratory in my basement..

Yes I am thinking of going DIY also since it may be the best and money saving method. Better read up on all the DIY first before attempting, don't want to kill myself. I will try different settings. I was worrying with 1.8ohms, higher setting will burn the wick.
