Hi all.
I'm a newbie to the world of e cigarettes and have just bought an Itaste MVP 2 which is serving me well to come of the actual cigarettes. I wanted a new tank for it and purchased a Vostro 2 which is perfect but I'm concerned about it. Everything seems to work great but I've been read a lot into this Ohms etc and it's scared me lol I'm running at 3.7 volts and the coil is (0.5ohms on the box) however I imagine it's a 1.5 ohms coil does anyone know if this will be safe to run at that voltage etc? Thanks for any help and ideas.

Hi @rawritsjonesy and welcome to the forum.

The rule of thumb for EVERY vape device you'll ever own is the same. Start low power, take a draw and bump the power up to repeat. If it starts to taste funny, gets too hot or tastes burnt, back it down. Different flavors will have different sweet spots so you just have to experiment.

Good luck in your journey.

It is unlikely to blow up while vaping. That's a regulated mod and they're actually good at it. The ones that blow up are usually mechanical mods, one of which you don't have, and even then almost always due to operator error. Regulated mods with fixed LiPo battery packs-- you do have one of those-- can be unstable while they are charging their batteries, but this is true of all LiPo batteries, including the one in your cell phone, and has nothing to do with vaping; it's the nature of the battery. Just don't handle it roughly while it's charging and you don't have much more to worry about than using your cell.
