looks like TI but it ain't..ALU one came with AVA atomizers I once used.

before your edit: 400 mesh for PG or < 50% VG. >50% VG use #350 or #270, Only use A1 Kanthal, 30 AWG or 32 AWG works for me.

The Cobra will look good also on your black Provari!
Thanks I edited because I didn't want to be the guy that asks too many q's and figured I'd just research it myself which is half the fun. Thanks for the help I wrote it down in my little notebook of notes... I'm on notebook #2! I love this forum and being able to ask the experts on what to do. I am truly glad I registered instead of just viewing pages. Thanks again emonty.

I got my cobra today! I got 1.6 ohms with my first wrap and am pushing 4.0v. This thing has major throat hit and I'm loving every second. Can anyone tell me what gauge the kanthal is that comes with this cobra though? I heard somewhere that it's 20awg but I got 28awg that is thicker than what my cobra came with.

20awg is .8mm , no way it comes with that being that would have almost no resistance and 28awg is actually thinner then 20awg at around .32mm . You might be mixing mm with awg , mm = 1 thousandth of a metre and awg = american wire gauge .
Also SWG = standard wire gauge . Typically a lot of gens come with .2mm kanthal though

I'd wager to guess it was a typo (30awg).

Thanks for the help. I got mixed up between our conversions. I just received my spool of 32 AWG A-1 and am using that now.

Cobra Rebuildable Atomiser 3ML

Just bought myself one. 36 more left in stock. Just a heads up for anyone who was waiting on them to be restocked. Can't wait to get it!

Posting this in both threads that helped me decide to buy one. I'll go ahead and ask now, which battery (dunno the terminology yet, APV/mod?, like the Provari) is recommended for the Cobra (based on performance and matching/similar looks)? Thanks in advance! :thumb:
