not 100% sure but I think my batteries switches may have developed a fault ?

If I take a long draw, the LED goes off after 2 seconds then comes in again.
It doesn't do it every time, but I need to take a really hard draw to get a constant light.

the only time i have that happen is when the cart is running dry or if ive left it a fair while in between vaping sessions (like i said on the vid) but once the juice gets to the coil its fine.

are you getting that problem with a fresh cart?

Had similar problems Neal, fine for a couple of draws then hard work... spoke to TECC on the basis I may have the old Atomisers (which I knew they were) and the old batteries... was told it couldn't be both and that if the battery lights up then its not that... and they also checked my order and apparently I had the new type batteries... sent of the atomisers to be replaced... just hope they are the problem cos dont want to be going backwards and forwards

Righto, I blew out my Juice from the atomiser, replaced the cart with one of the high nic tobacco ones that came with it.

It now works fine, the atomiser is popping and burbling again, I can draw in for as long as I like (can't manage more than about 7 seconds but the battery still going longer than I can)

So it would appear that juice was the problem as it was too thick and simulated a dry cart.

Well, I had a false start with my Titan because the cartridges didn't fit the atomisers. They had to be replaced by Totally Wicked. I'm still not exactly sure what the specific problem was because the replacements look the same. Perhaps the originals were just badly machined?

Anyway, I can't fault TW for their service. I often think you judge a company not when things are going well, but rather how they respond when there is a problem. I can't fault TW here.

As for the Titan? It's producing tons of vapor, veritable clouds. :D

It has a nice easy draw, is comfortable to hold, has an enclosed atomiser for nice, easy dripping .... and did I mention that it's producing plenty of vapour?

The next thing to see will be longevity, but, all in all, after a false start, this thing is going very well indeed. :)

Great review Scott. What's your impression on cart refills between the evo and the titan? Does the titan seem like it last longer between cart refills or vice versa.

hi mate,

its a bit of a strange one really! the titan carts are about 3 times the size of the evo carts (estimate!) but last around the same length of time. even though they are much bigger i think the titan uses a lot more juice than the evo.........judging by the vapour production. the evo has great vapour, but the titan has GREAT VAPOUR!!!!! (its almost a bad thing as when i use another e-cig they seem really puny now! lol)

but i swear that when i 1st got the titan the carts lasted a lot longer!

Ahh, it makes sense now. Maybe the atomizer finally got worn in a bit and the juice really adheres to it. Hopefully these new revisions come out to the US soon. I'm really itching to get my hands on one seeing how much vapor these things put out.

i guessing you would rather purchase from the US but TECC do ship worldwide if you was interested. i would not have a clue what the shipping times would be though!

hey guys,i just got the titan 510 drom tecc yesterday and im not sure how long a charged battery will last.charged one battery overnight with the pcc and it lasted one hour only!!!is it normal or im doing something wrong?
i have to say the vapor is great and although this is my first e-cig ,it looks extremly powerful compared with the ds901 videos i have seen.i switched overnight from 50 marlboro red a day to none(finding about e-cigs was like finding the holy grail for me).

another concern is that i really feel a good lung punch only when my cartridge is freshly filled ,after a short moment of use the effect disapears and i have to refill my cartridge again to the top despite that it still has plenty of juice left in it.any thought on that?
im using the 11 mg TW juice,as i am a chain smoker (and im vaping even more now)i didnt want to use a stronger one as i will probably end up with a nicotine overdose

It seems to me that the Titan performs best with a fully charged battery (no surprise there) and that's where the PCC should come into its own. I've just bought one so I can confirm that. :D But also it seems to perform better with direct dripping. It does use more juice that way, no doubt about that.

It's very easy just to vape away because of the really quite satisfying clouds of vapour, but that will obviously tan the battery more quickly - I normally get much more than an hour though but that's with with mains charging.

Great review, i just received mine today and just took the battery off the charger, 1 question is there supposed to be a gap between the cartridge and atomizer as the cartridge wont shut down all the way.

hi mate,

no, there should not be a gap! the cart should just click nicely into place.

does it feel like you would need to use a lot of force to put the cartridge fully in place? try a different cart and see if it makes any difference.

if not, then i would advise to send customer sevices an email.

cheers,

scott

No, there shouldn't be a gap. The cartridge should just click down snugly. I had to return my atomiser and cartridges for replacement by Totally Wicked because they simply wouldn't fit. It should fit without any force.

I don't know whether I had a badly machined atomiser or what, but the cartridge on the original wouldn't fit even when forcing it quite a bit.
