I love my Titan. I got the Janty PCC from iVapour for it and that just makes it so handy as I've always got a charged battery ready for vaping. The vapour out of it is fantastic.
I've got the white one, but I've just ordered two black batteries, two black atomisers and 10 empty cartridges for it so I can have a black one too. :)

Oh, I just cannot wait now that it is finally ordered. I just hope that it comes quickly.

Thanks for all you do Scott. I know that you have had knocks from this forum, but without some of your reviews, people wouldn't have a clue on how to make even an iota of an informed decision about products. So what if you get ecigs for free to trial??? Jealousy is a terrible thing, lol. Most ppl wouldn't put the time in that it takes for those videos. All they see is that you are getting something for nothing in their eyes. (Just something I have thought about a few times when I have read some of the critiques and my two penn'th worth)

Started using my new 510 at approx. 1640 hrs. It is now 1728 hrs. For the first time ever, I am starting to feel that I have seriously had enough for a short while, although this thing is hard to leave alone. I gave up analogues for a month some months back, fell off the wagon and have not been able to get back on it completely using the 901, evo or pilot. Do I want a real cigarette now? Hell no. I am very impressed with the Titan/510 (at the moment anyway).
Scott, you were so right!
Suzi

yeah I hear ya suzie. I bought a cruddy KR-808A from a cdn site ..... and although it has taken away or subsided cravings for real cigs, that urge came back some last night. Luckily i didn't cave in...and double luckily my 510 will arrive this coming week.
I now understand just how important it is that if your plan is to quit the real cigs, then you best buck up and get an e-cig that performs with respects to vapour, throat hit, and lastly taste. Taste is easy...for the beginning just buy a regular tobacco taste or close to e-liquid (rather than vanilla!) For me, hitting those criteria are key in dropping the analogs. LED color, physical realism...not so much an issue at all! I thought I'd want to blend in.... but why blend in??? I'm not smoking!!! :)
So for all you newbies shopping.... spend that cash on a good one! Dont be afraid to drop $150 or more for a recommended e-cig.
I know I would have appreciated knowing that my first time around!

Cheers
Charles

Did Scott stop doing his reviews on the forum? Is that why I don't see his JStick review?

Scott, if you are still reading the posts, the only e-cigs I purchased were the ones you reviewed. Even my most recent and favorite ecig -- 510 -- was a purchase based on your review. I even bought something I would have never imagined buying -- the TW Strawberry eliquid -- because of your review. When I watched the review I remember thinking "You gotta be kidding!!!" But to my surprise, your review was right on.

I really hope you'll do more reviews. I would love to see you reviewing all the new mods, you know Prodigy and JantyStick, etc.

hi , i have the titan for 20 days now, i use it in everyday basis, and its great for amount of vapour and throat hit as all of you said. for a week now it reduced its performance as for throat hit and vapour. Its from the atomiser i think, because when i tried the spare one ,all was as when i first bought it.I had some trouble with the automatic battery, i sent it back and told them to send me a manual one instead, now i'm waiting for them to recive it and send me a new one. manual is much better than the auto. It's still a very good ecig though, i also bought it based on igetcha's reviews and don't regret it!! aaa also another thing, I'm using intellicig liquid with the 510, It' very good, taste and hit, but , i think, as the 510 heats up more than the evo, the filler inside the cartridge becomes very brownish and chewy, as when you heat up sugar, and so it seals its self and few liquid is then transferred to the atomiser, have any one found this problem with this liquid??

thanks

hi mate,

agreed, the Titan does tend to make the wool slightly discoloured due to the extra heat of the atomiser.
however, ive found that it is easily rectified by topping up more often than i normally would with other e-cigs........probably twice as often in fact!
as soon as i notice even a slightest drop in taste or vapour i straight away add 3 or 4 drops to the wool to keep it (and the atomiser) moist.
if i didnt add more juice at that stage then it would still continue to produce good vapour, throat hit etc but it definitely leads to the brown cart material and eventually the burnt taste some guys experience.

i also feel that topping up twice as often prolongs the atomiser life. ive had a black atomiser for over 5 weeks now that is still producing great vapour (as good as new!) without any sign of slowing down!

and yes, ECOpure liquid + Titan = stupidly crazy amounts of vapour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D

cheers,

scott

I'm a newbie of 3 weeks, using the beginners fave, the 901.
I've discovered that I don't like topping as much as one needs to do with a 901 and there are times that I want to take deeper, longer puffs than a 901 can understandably not provide, so I'm looking to go to the next level.

Which has led me to choose between the 801 & the 510 and I keep flip flopping between the two. The minute I decide "Yup! it's the 510 for me!" I read something that changes my mind! - as noted above! LOL

Just so I'm understanding your comment; the 510 while providing great throat hit & vapor, does require more topping off than I'm doing with me 901?

If so, that throws me back into the arms of the 801....but, will I be able to take long drags off it, like I've noticed the 510 can handle?

THX for your time & all that you do with your reviews!
=========
On a separate note; I agree with SuzieQ - who gives a rip who gives you what to try and review?? As long as you are reviewing them honestly, that's all that matter.
It was your review of the Gamucci that swayed me to the 901...and for that, I owe you a big thank you!

hi mate,

the 801 is also a very good e-cig but it still has a 5 second drag limit exactly the same as the 901, so you would only be able to take the same length drag as your 901.
the TITAN has a manual battery option which then gives you an unlimited drag time..........drag for as long as your lungs can handle! the same applies to the TITAN auto batteries but they are a little hit or miss!

the carts on the 801 are huge, however i personally dont find that they last any longer than a 901 or TITAN. with the 801 and 901 i notice that the cart is still very wet even though vapour has reduced to indicate its running dry. but with the TITAN, it really seems to use up all the juice properly leaving the wool dry. but the downside is that you need to avoid it running too dry as you can start to notice a difference in taste and the wool will go slightly brown at the top.

ive tried many different models now and in my personal opinion EVERY e-cig, regardless of cart size will give you around 4 - 5 cigarettes worth of vaping before needing to be refilled or topped up. but im sure other users experience different results!

out of the 801 or TITAN (Joye 510) i would choose the TITAN because its smaller, looks great (black version!), unlimited drag time, fantastic vapour production and provides a very good throat hit.

there are other e-cigs available that now use "cartomizers". a cartomizer is a cartridge and atomiser built into one single unit. they are said to have a cart that lasts far longer than a regular e-cig cart. im currently using one at the moment which i will be reviewing soon........but ive not been really blown away by it!

cheers,

scott

and THIS is the reason you rock! LOL
You answered every concern I had perfectly! Even when you mentioned "cartomizers", I was thinking "what are those exactly??", you answered it before I had to write about it! LOL
Thank you so much!!

I do have one additional question, out of curiosity, what's the big deal on a cartomizer? If the atty & cart is one unit, my initial impression is one can't top off or drip, so it would only be a one time use item, wouldn't it?

I know; you provided the trailer, and we have to wait for the movie! LOL

Thank you again for everything! You really cleared things up for me!:thumb:
=============================
I'm sorry; I do have one more question --
Just to be sure, the Titan is just a 'brand' name, right? It is the same as a 510, so it really doesn't matter who I buy it from, right?? LOL

soooo much info, I just wanted to be sure! THX!

hi mate,

cartomizers tend to have a longer cart life and every time you change carts you start off with a brand new atomiser too! so in theory you should always get great vapour!

and yes, the TITAN is just a brand name for a model Joye510 :D

cheers,

scott

I can't wait to see the review on this.
While I understand their theory, it leads to more questions in my mind. But, I'm sure you will address it in the review, so I won't bother with it at this time. I'll just sit tight and wait for the video:rolleyes:

THX! thought so, but I just wanted to triple check to be sure.

And as always, thank you again for all your assistance here & in the videos!!;)

Scott,

Back in January of this year, the only visibility of ecigs. in Cali. U.S.A. was NJOY. I was excited to learn of this new technology, but their products were CRAP to say the least! Having to work a gig for a month in Spain, I stumbled on your reviews, and the whole sky opened up! Thank you for your time, charm, and character...you are truly an ACE cat! Since then, I thought about distributing my own line, but was still put off by all the variables...though within my own community, of which I have a direct Q and A with, I wouldn't know anything about anything if it wasn't for you! With the explosion of ecigs. in the marketplace over the last few months, I thank you for initially guiding me, and now all the people becoming interested in the revolution! I have tried every ecig. out there (sample orders while mulling over the distribution idea) and for me there's nothing better than the 510/Dura/PCC setup. I am anxiously awaiting my GG which will no doubt be a further exploration into the possibilities of this new industry. I must express to you my feelings regarding TECC (knowing the good standing relationship you have with them). I've spent quite a lot of money with them, and stocked up on extra batts., and atoms. for the 510. I placed an order quite close to, though before they made the manual batts. available. The issues I had with the Auto batts. was the cleaning cycle(s) leaving a lingering bad taste afterwards (and not being able to drip is a real drag). With such a close order time between the Auto only and the choice of manual, I was hoping they would understand and given JOYE's 6 mo. Factory Warranty with TECC, kindly replace my less than 2mo. old batteries. Also, if I might humbly make a suggestion for you to tell your viewers...Charge and check all backup batteries and atomizers at time of receipt, as putting them in personal back-stock without use may lead to future disappointment. In any event, a nonchalant response from TECC with a basic NO, was all I received. Given the markup on these products, and the timetable of which these events took place, I was very displeased, and will now only be doing business with Janty. On a positive note, Totally Wicked U.S.A. had been leaving me with a bitter taste as well, until their rep. offered to chat on the phone in lieu of email, and I am VERY pleased with the resolve. SO, my advice to everyone...try and remain patient, civil, and call your appropriate reps. by phone vs. email...it appears we're all still human after all!

P.S. My Lalla Butique Tobacco Hi came this morning, as per your review and it's lovely!

P.P.S. The 510 manual batts. WILL fit in the PCC w/o having to mod., as JOYE's most current batt. has a lowered switch! Make sure you tell your supplier to check that it will slip into a PCC b4 shipping:rolleyes:

Keep on keepin on:thumb:,
