Well that just totally sucks. I don't have that mod, but there was a contest here a while back in which quite a few folks won one, so surely someone will be along to lend their experience and hopefully expertise.

Don't blame ya for wanting to effectively "lo-jack" your mod; I'd probably just chain it to my arm.

Indeed found the solution after days of searching. Though it is not mentioned in the post this will give you access to the Location function on the SMART BEC app for Android.
