The eleaf iStick Pico S is a great 100W mod that works well for MTL or DTL. $46 at fasttech. It's a 21700 mod that comes with an 18650 adapter sleeve insert. The battery holder (wavy design tube) unscrews for battery replacement. It can also charge from USB in those situations when you are away from home.

Mod only price ...

@Eskie, would say that the Lost Vape Triade was cheaper at the moment. And more easily sought.

Just the size and weight for some may be an issue, but good ergonomics and 3 × 18650 batteries that will keep you going for ages do make up for it. Plus, it's kind of built like a Volvo or Saab.

Personally, I find the Triade much too large for my hand. The Paranormal is big, but comfy. I love mine.

Some women don’t mind enormous mods, but a lot of us do. I usually default to that when suggesting gear, singles or doubles for women, doubles and triples for guys.

My recommendations would be the Paranormal, one of the Aegis (single, legend, or solo) or my favorites ( although others may disagree) something by AsMODus, like a Minikin, Colossal or Amighty.

No worries folks, just thinking that Paranormal is getting more expensive over time and hard to find. Whereas you can pick the Triade up cheaper (not that much), and besides it's more suited to sub ohm vaping due to extended battery life.

Asmodus is a possible contender though for
OP, Minikin Reborn or Minikin 2.

Eleaf invoke: small, lightweight, simple to navigate
Lost Vape Paranormal: quality, heavy but comfortable, navigation is easy once you get comfortable
Asmodus Colossal: single 18650, pocket purse friendly, navigation is touch control, very popular with those that like a smaller mod
Asmodus Minikin 2, small but a touch heavy, comfortable, dual 18650, retains is popularity since release
Smoant Battlestar: the original dual 18650, easy navigation, reliable and tough, comfortable

All but the Paranormal are simple in design and looks.

Smoant also do some decent mods.

Battlestar
Charon Mini
Naboo

You could look on fasttech or vapecrawler, but it's best to even search on different sites. As you never know what you'll dig up.

Will check them out. Thank you for the recommendations.

Take a peek at the Innokin Proton. Dual battery and quite small for that class, nice clean screen with a simple and intuitive menu.

Still not sure on your price range, but if you're up for a stretch, a Lost Vape Paranormal 250c is an excellent choice. It will give you plain old wattage, excellent temp control of you ever want to go down that route and a special feature of Replay which allows for simplified temp control and dry hit protection as long as you use compatible coils the most popular being made of stainless steel. It is significantly more than a Proton or Invoke, but at least you'll see other options.

Hmm.. Innokin proton sure look nice, love the joystick for interface, going to check that out. Don't know with the paranormal 250c, bit to steep for me since i already spend with stuff i mentioned above, also it look way to "sophisticated" mod for starter like me judging from various review about it but thank you for the recommendations.

Nice catchy colors, the red one look beautiful but i'll have to go with dual 18650 since i already got 2 pairs of them, but thank you for the recommendation.

The Paranormal was more a throw it out there so you know the market. It is steep, but if you're an unlimited budget type, it's good for less advanced vapers to grow into, with lots of simplified features to start out with.

Dropping that one, you've gotten lots of excellent advice. Among those mentioned I have a Smoant mod as well, and find it to be a well made device. The Proton is a weird favorite as some folks hate the joystick but I think their implementation of it is excellent. Comes down to preference. Asmodus has lots of fans of different models from them, but I have no hands on experience to pipe up about.

It's hard to go wrong with anything you've been guided towards. Do understand that mainstream mods don't have a perfect QC rate (well even the more expensive ones but they have better warranties). Be sure to check out the vendor's policies on warranty coverage and returns before ordering. They're quite important if something goes bad shortly after getting it. Price is important, but so is customer service. Feel free to post vendors you run across for any feedback if you have any doubts.
