I've been lurking these forums a bit (thanks to the all-knowing Google) and finding some great info here. A little history about how I got into eCigs...

I've been smoking cigs for over 4 years. It wasn't a terribly expensive habit, with my peak being about a pack and a half a day and my usual being 10 sticks a day. I still felt the health effects though.

About 3 weeks ago, I purchased a Classic tobacco BluCig from walgreens. My intent was to quit smoking cigarettes all together, in the most gradual way possible. I have tried quitting several times before, but I would always go running back.

After trying the BluCig, I purchased a second one (to try another flavor - the menthol ones). It was okay, but still not quite there.

I decided to do some research online and pulled the trigger within days... picked up an eGo T system from a local shop. Since then... smoke free! :)

I have some questions about the kit though that I can't seem to find answers to.. so thats why I registered. Hi everyone!

Thanks! So the issue I have with my kit is minor but I think it might be a hint towards another problem. As my username states, I'm a bit paranoid that this thing will get damaged :)

When I bought the eGo T kit, it came with 2 batteries. Both batteries have an LED indicator on there when pressing the button to start the heating element. This LED light used to turn a bright white, but within less than 3 weeks of use both batteries are showing a darker, more brownish/grayish color. I have seen one of the battery LED's turn back to bright white, only to return to thsi darker color.

My habit is about 1 to 1.5mL a day, throughout the day.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this and if I should be concerned at all about my batteries? I'm out of my home country so these things are not very accessible to me right now. Just don't want to be in a situation where cigarettes are my go-to for nicotine again.

I would contact the vendor in person and show it to them. Never heard of this before but you never know what's going on with the battery underneath the button. I've distributed a whack of Ego style batts and they've never had this issue.

fyi, here's a picture of the battery LED i'm talking about: http://www.okcvapes.com/product_images/f/990/joye_650_battery__29803_zoom.jpg

you can see its suffering from the same "dark brown/grayish" color that mine is... and thats from an online shop's photo
