Hi everyone!
I am new to ECF and almost new to electronic cigs. I stopped smoking about 3 months ago on 20 June without patches or gum. After less than two months, I found myself in the store asking me if I was buying a pack of cigarettes or not. I had difficulty with taking weight. I had trouble buttoning my jeans! I held on and I left the store with an electronic cigarette instead of a pack of cigarettes. I've tried a few models and I could not find it satisfactory.

I bought a 510T kit. I liked this better than electronic cigarettes from the corner store. Then I bought an Ego-C kit and I like it a lot. I do a lot of testing with different flavors. I confess that I still search the flavor of a cigarette or vanilla cigarillo. I read on ECF that real tobacco flavor does not exist but it occupies my mind and hands.

I smoked for almost 38 years and I hope this time I'll be able to quit for good.

I apologize for my bad English but Google helped me. GOOGLE thank you!:2cool:

Have a nice day !

Hey welcome. Pardon my spelling. I'm in an English speaking country and had it in School and College and I suck. Spell check and computers made it worse so you did fine.
I smoked on an off for 20 plus years. I was a pipe smoker fist then cigars because with I pipe you don't smoke you just have a hobby of trying to keep the damn thing lit. The last 4 year I've been an on and off again Cigar inhaler smoker. So I was really messing myself up.
Glad to have you on board.
welcome.

Sure you can :) Like many of us did through vaping. Great step forward to stay smoke free permanently.

You might wana try a VV device next like an inexpensive ego twist. That will enhance your vaping experience with its flexibility to change the voltages.

Hi All! I too am a newbie to both the forum and e-cigs. I started with a Blu that I tried and put away months ago, but decided to use again last Thursday. I started with their 16mg juice, but was chain vaping and still smoking 2-4 cigs a day. Then over the weekend I got a new similar, but better setup from Bloog with their 24mg juice, and WOW what a difference! No more cravings..No more cigs..I've not had any in 2 days now. I know it's ONLY been 2 days, but that's huge for me seeings how I was a pack to 1+ a day smoker for 27 years!:toast: I'm loving vaping and thanking the "Vapor Gods" lol..:toast: to All who are beating the demon!

Most fixed voltage PVs are 3.7v. VV allows you to adjust the voltage output of your battery. The Ego C Twist has a range of 3.2v to 4.8v. It allows you much greater control over your vaping experience. You can use cartos and attys with different resistances and adjust voltage and therefore wattage to achieve different results with throat hit, temperature and flavour and battery life. Definitely worth exploring and the Ego C Twist is a great starter.
I've only ever used the Twist and my Provari so I don't have any experience of fixed voltage and can't imagine it to be honest. I've found some juices taste better at higher or lower voltage than others even through the same equipment.
Give it a shot! I don't think you'll be disappointed. :)
