48 yo newbie here (quit cigs bout 5 yrs back,but smoked cigars.) Been vaping 1 month now, no analog cigars since 11/10/15 + yes, I inhaled em) 
Went from 10-15 grape swisher sweets a day to using a Sigelei 150w box mod w/ Aspire atlantis tank. (.5 ohm coils, @ 21.5 ish watts that a friend traded me for some work on his civic,lol) Just received my 1st vapemail yesterday from Wizard Labs- stoked to be DIY ing now. Only ordered TFA flavors for now, (cubano,grape candy,black cherry,strawberry ripe,coffee,mary jane,whipped cream,and ethyl malto 10% in pg solution) and didn't know to order the super strength NIC until perusing forums, vape @ 6mg + bought 250ml of 12mg but lesson learned. Still learning everyday! (and breathing a lot easier) Bought gallon sizez of PG + VG from Essential Depot on Amazon for 48ish shipped-so got all that I'll need for awhile.
