Hello from Western Australia, this is my first post Im 65 years old, Ive been smoking since I was nine y/o so whats that? 56 years. I smoke Rotterdam Shag tobacco sold as White Ox but its $84.60 for a 50 gram packet nowdays. It used to be 70 cents for a 1 ounce packet. Im a pensioner now so I need some advice on getting started and this looks to be just the place to find things out. So greetings everyone and Ill see you in the forums somewhere?

For specifics @Letitia ’s link is what you want to use as legalities vary between countries. If you are a cigarette smoker you probably want a mtl style build, but if you are a pipe smoker you may want dL instead. I am not sure

I don't think any beginner can go wrong with an Innokin Kroma/Zenith kit. Kroma has a user friendly menu and Zenith has good air flow options to play with plus good quality coils.

Good luck finding your suppliers, there are a few Aus and NZ members and I'm sure they can help you out and my understanding is that importation is also legal, although you'd want suppliers near to you with reasonable shipping rates, etc. That forum can help with that also.

Just wanted to say hi, and welcome aboard and you certainly don't have to stick to "your corner" for most issues, other than maybe suppliers.

Hey mate, Im in WA as well. I would be happy to help if I can.
You cant buy nicotine in WA. You can buy it online from NZ and that is legal. Its illegal for some one in WA to sell you nicotine.
Vape mods, tanks and pens etc are hard to track down here because of laws but you can buy them online from SA, NSW and SA. I can help you with some links to online stores and there are a few other West Aussies here that can also help you. Ask questions here and we will answer them.
If you and I live close to one another we could meet up somewhere neutral and where you feel comfortable and I could show you the devices I use and why I like them.
I have an Innokin T22 and some spare coils you can have as well as some unflavoured 6mg nicotine juice that might help you get started. Up to you, the offer is there and Im happy to help.

Yep. It’s called messages. I’m using an older skin so I don’t know where it would be on your page but the way it works in mine is you click on the avatar pic and you get a pop up. On the pop up is “start a conversation”

Well, Jebbn (Jeff) True to his word came around home the other night and gave me an Innokin Endura T22 complete vaping system with a big bottle of 6ml unflavoured nicotine and a new packet of 5 coils!!! For free, he showed me how to use it and all the ins and outs and pros and cons. I havent had a cigarette since although Ill have to go up on the strength unless I get used to this 6 ml in the mean-time. I cant thank Jeff enough because Ive been meaning to take the leap but I didnt know anyone that vaped or anything about it? Its only been a few days but Im already breathing easier.
