Hi my name is Rick, from Tampa Florida, my wife Brenda and I started vaping last Saturday, March 3, 2013.
I was a three pack a day smoker and had been trying to quit for well over four months, was down to one pack a day, my wife was a one pack a day smoker. Once we started vaping we quit cigarettes completely; I was surprised at how easy it was. We still have half a carton sitting on the kitchen counter (and there they are going to stay till we throw them out).
I have been trying to do some research on e-cigarettes and have found that a lot of the research is very inaccurate, incomplete, confusing and in many cases contradicts itself. If anyone has any suggestions on where I can find some good research from a reputable source I would appreciate a link to the articles.
My wife and I are currently using the Totally Wickeds Tornado-C twist is with the 1.8 e-juice menthol. I love having the ability to adjust the voltage. I have to admit, its just like smoking, minus a lot of the bad crap that comes with it and also love the fact this is a hell of a lot less expensive than smoking.
So far so good, I feel better, my food tastes better, I dont stink and I can smoke in the house without it affecting my kids or grandkids. So far I give this a four thumbs-up.
Im open to any suggestions or comments from anyone with more knowledge and experience than I.

I've only been vaping about 2 months and already prefer it to smoking (15 years, pack a day habit) for all the same reasons you listed.
