Greetings....new to the forum, duh or i wouldn't be here..... I am getting ready to order juice and blank carts....Have been vaping since January (New Years resolution you know,,,) Come to think of it the only one i have kept thus far...anyway....is it true that i can extend the life of a cart by adding a few drops to the cart??? i usually just vape away until they start tasting kinda burnt and pitch em. i guess that would be the equivalent of smoking the filter on an analog???:)

I started out with v2cigs bought a kit form myself and my hubby. He unfortunately hasn't stuck with it as i have probably because i smoked menthol and it has been relatively easy for me to switch because of the flavoring. He smokes Camel lights or blues or whatever.....and i haven't been able to find a cart that actually tastes like tobacco analog....any suggestions???

I now am using V4L accessories and carts initially because the carts were compatible with v2cigs batteries and they had so many more flavor choices.

so looking forward to experimenting with the juice!!!! also looking forward to learning a lot from the forums!!

You should be able to get 4 to 7 days from a cartomizer (cart+atomizer in one). Some vapers clean their cartomizers for a 2nd and 3rd use.

Dr. Vapor on YT does a good job explaining cartomizers, cleaning etc. Refilling will save you lots of money and cartomizers are easy-peasy. Good luck.

Hi and welcome to the ECF :)
I think what you're using are carto's. V4L sells the KR808 model PV. I buy liquid from them occasionally. I had really good luck starting out with 2 of their manual XL batteries and some sample packs of cartos.
You can add juice to them a couple different ways and both will extend the usable life.
One is to take out the top plug and drip down the sides, a little at a time.
The other is the "condom method" where you take the silicone cap that the carto came with and put a few drops in it. You then slide the carto down, battery end first, into it. Let it sit a few minutes and clean it with a paper towel.
Either way will make them last a few days
Good luck :)

Congrats on making the switch! It's a bit of an adjustment, but well worth it. I have added a couple of drops to my empty pre-filled carts before. It will work. I can't help much with the tobacco flavors issue. I ordered one from cignot.com when I first started vaping over a year ago. It was supposed to be a marlboro flavor. It was pretty close for me. You might try that. I'm not sure about Camels, because I only smoked Marlboros in the past. The cignot.com flavor was very close to that of a cigarette for me. A couple of months after changing over, I was done with the tobacco flavor altogether. Now when I even take a drag off a friend's cigarette it makes me want to gag. Again, congrats on changing over! Breathing easy is nice isn't it?! :)

Hi and Welcome to ECF. It will be really difficult to find a liquid that tastes just like an analog cigarette and most of us would likely agree that is a good thing. When I first started that is what I was looking for but stuck with it despite not being able to find one. I tried one cigarette after about 3 weeks and it tasted absolutely nasty. If he is at all open to a different taste though you may want to try the 7 leaf with cool hit from ECblend or my favorite chocolate hazelnut tobacco. Neither of them taste like an analog but both are very satisfying and IMHO much better than any cigarette I ever smoked.

-- *absolutely* -- the minute they produce a bit less vapor and/or flavor, top them off (i have OCD and top them off way before this happens, LOL) -- and by doing so, depending on the type of juice you vape and how often you do so, you could extend the life of each one quite a bit...and like Boodle mentioned, cleaning them can extend them even further.

i haven't been able to find a cart that actually tastes like tobacco analog
neither has anyone else, LOL. unfortunately, it's not totally possible, as a great part of the taste of an analog cigarette is from the smoke. however, many members who were like your hubby have found tobacco flavors that they really like from both backwoods brew and alien visions.

Welcome to ECF! Everyone here has already given you some great advice (either I really am getting old, or these guys are just that quick!) I'm glad to read that you've decided to branch out into filling your own and trying new flavors. Finding the right flavors and the right PV make all the difference in whether or not vaping will work for anyone, so don't be afraid to experiment!

I'd tell you to go vape your head off now, but you've already been doing that since January!

Shizzle..

well now that i see that in print i have to agree was kinda of a dumb statement....smoke and carcinogens are no longer in the mix lol. well i guess until he is ready and willing to make the change and forgo some of the taste. for me it was like switching brands i had done so several times mostly related to cost. it usually took a full pack or two before the new brand started tasting ok...but again being a menthol smoker i think made it easier for me.....i just bought some menthol variety packs and picked the one i liked the best...Thanks.

I appreciate all the suggestions and help....

I use V4L batteries and carts i think i will also get a drip tip (i intended to this order but i forgot to add it to the order......w/ 25% off makes it easier to experiment with flavors and accessories.....) I have like seven different batteries....if i am not careful this may surpass my shoe addiction!!!

Off to clean my batteries.:)

Thanks again!
