As a resident of Mister and Mississauga, have you checked the new Dashvapes store at Britannia and #10? Great juice bar.
No I haven't, I am still trying to figure out where exactly the vape stores are, so I will add that to my list.. LOL. I've been going to the Flea Market at Mavis & Dundas. Great if you only need something on a Sat or Sun and you like crowded parking lots :p <insert sarcasm here> ..

If you have any additional suggestions, I welcome them :) And.. I will definitely check out Dashvapes.

Canvape? They are a great seller. Very fair prices. They are a registered supplier with ECF and have a sub - forum in the Suppliers area.

Dashvapes sells some higher end end equipment but the pricing is fair for Canada. To me the juice tasting area is the benefit.

Wish I had discovered vaping long ago. Maybe my failed attempts at quitting smoking wouldn't have failed. Like so many others, nothing really worked, in fact I started to be convinced the "non-smoking" aids were designed to kill you faster.

When I was in England visiting a couple yrs ago a friend had an ecig. I thought it was great. I have no idea why I thought they were illegal here but I did and eventually found out they weren't. After trying it using the usual beginner spinner battery, and small $2 tank, I managed to convince everyone in my family that smoked to try vaping. They really took to it, but I was still glued to my smokes.

So now I have a Nautilus Mini/eLeaf 30w, finally figured out the right Nicotine strength to use and seem to be making progress. I did discover the 50/50 ejuice and I don't get along, I would always get so congested whenever I vaped. So I have migrated to higher VG. My Nautilus is really not liking that at all. Now I am considering getting an Atlantis 2 tank. Does any one out there have any experience with that one? I also have no idea what battery to use with it. I like the eLeaf, but I have no idea what wattage to get. This is certainly a learning experience, one I am embracing. It would be amazing to get away from the stinky smokes after 30 yrs of dealing with them. I am down to just a few smokes a day now :)

Welcome to come get forum.

You did exactly what you should. Ask for advice because there are people here that love Mech mods, regulated mods, tootle puffing at 10 watts or less, cloud chasers, the whole gamut of Vaping from cartomisers to RDAs and RTAs .

What you should get next depends on how you like to vape.

If you like mouth to lung I would recommend the Subtank mini with the 1.5 ohm coil heads

If you like lung hits use the .5 Ohm coil heads.

If you want to get into drippers I would recommend the Magma for mouth to lung hits, and the Freakshow Mini, Rogue, Veritas for lung hits.

If you want to rebuild but not drip there are RTAs. The flavor of a dripper but convenience of a tank.

For mouth to lung there is the Kayfun Lite, Taifun GT II

for lung hits there is the Kayfun Monster, Goblin Mini, Silverplay Nano, Ohmega or Ohmega Nano, etc.

Then there are the range of Genesis Atomizers.

No matter how you like to vape there is gear out there for you.

Yes! That's the one. Canvape. Really? That is awesome, I'm thrilled to hear they are one of the registered sellers. I really like them. I order from their Website and go see them if I have a question. Although I really don't like fighting for parking and unless you are an early bird it is really crowded. I think I have to suck it up (pardon the pun ;) ) and go there either today or tomorrow. And now I am curious about Dashvapes, I'll have to go see this juice bar.

Wow! Endless options, which is fantastic. Confusing, but fantastic none the less. There is so much to think about. This does help though :) Thank-you!

You cam also check Canvape at the Flea market at Steeles and Airport. They are in the building closest to Steeles. Just to the right when you go in the door. The parking on that side (south) is pretty good. Most people are parking in the main lot in the west side.
That's the one in Brampton, yes? I've never been there but good to know there is an alternative. :) I haven't gone through the vendor list in here, I was thinking it wouldn't be any use to me since I figured it was all U.S. but now that I know there are Cdn Vendors there too, especially with our pathetic exchange rate, I will have to go scope it out. Pretty happy with Canvape though. I rarely buy elsewhere although I still do. There is an amazing high quality ejuice they don't carry so I go direct. They really should have it as part of their lineup.

IMO, Canvape is responsible for the quality of vape vendors we have today. 4 to 5 years ago, all we had was guys selling 510 pens for $100 with little or no juice available. The juice they did have was crap and equally overpriced.

Canvape came in with a new model of low cost, high volume, great selection, knowledgeable clerks and great service.

They rewrote the book on ecig selling in Canada 4 years ago so we wouldn't have to buy from US websites.

I actually came upon them by accident (a fortunate one for sure). I only knew of one vendor in there, but they didn't have anything other than very cheap juice. So I went snooping and felt like I had discovered a Gold Mine. They are great. We are lucky to have them for certain. Especially since they are Cdn. It can be very tricky trying to get Li-Ion batteries across the boarder sometimes. They have very inconsistent rules.

There was 4 ecig vendors at the brampton flea market last time I was there. The kind of guys operating out of the trunk of the car looking to make a quick buck.

I would recommend Canvape to anyone looking to buy equipment. I buy all my stuff from them and Dashvapes ( who have 4 physical store locations). These are the kind of vendors that have invested into a long term business

Not endless possibilities but you can rest assured that you will be able to find something that will work for you.

Decide how you want to vape and ask a question and someone here has been there and done that, and even better be willing to help you.

Me I am va flavor chaser and prefer lung hits.

Others like mouth to lung devices.

Others are cloud chasers and like high wattage.

So decide how you want to vape and ask a question and some friendly people will tell you what they used to get that kind of vape.

This way you will waste less money on items that will take you in the wrong direction.

Here's the one question I always have but was afraid to ask  The various lung descriptions, which in an odd way makes me cringe. What is the correct reference to just taking a drag like a usual cigarette? It's not creating giant clouds, if it's too much I choke myself stupid, if it's too strong same effect. Sorry for asking such a dumb question but I haven't found anything to explain how those descriptions translate :(

Welcome to ECF, and Congrats on cutting back on the Stinky's. You can do it and this is a nice supportive place to help. Vaping did the dirty deed for me also. The other methods just didn't.
Enjoy your journey to better health:):headbang:
Thank-you! It's nice to finally be on the journey.

Welcome and congratulations, you are on your way to being smoke free after 30 years. Sometimes it takes a few days, or weeks, or even months but you'll get there. Best of luck, Ginger
Thank-you :) Yep, months is probably more in alignment for me. I find I am practically gluing myself to my vape and hoping this is normal. I appreciate the encouragement, I can use all the support I can get. It is actually refreshing not to hear 'it is just about willpower', 'just quit it's that simple' blah blah blah. If it was that simple I doubt many people would still be smoking.

Yep dbr _ vape that is normal; beginning, during and maybe even always. But sure healthier than the other route; so no worries. Your habits will change up sometime or another. Not to worry; simply enjoy the journey.;)
You'll look back at this and go; yeah I remember those days while reading over someones post. With a Big smile at how far you have come and how much better you now feel. Last but not least you'll quote their post to let them know that they can do it also. As I am now to you now:thumb::smokie:

That's a relief, glad to hear it is normal. I will do exactly as you suggest, I will enjoy the journey. Thank-you :) :)

If you take the vapor straight into your lungs, that's a "lung hit". The MTL "mouth to lung" is drawing the vapor first into the mouth then inhaling into the lungs; often referenced with "tootle puffing" as a vaping style for lower-power, higher ohm setups. I do lung hits off of what would be considered tootle-puffing setups, so there are lots of variations of vaping styles to be had. The main thing is you find what you enjoy and works for you. :)

The right way is that gives you a satisfying vape and keeps you off the Stinkies.

I like lung hits. Others like mouth to lung like a cigarette.

The only dumb question is the one unasked.
