@davettn Hi and welcome to ECF. Don't worry, when I first started vaping I also did not prime my coils well enough and ended up spoiling my first two stock coil heads. Just follow the instructions, as above, and apply a few drops of juice on the coil, fill up your tank and leave it alone for about 5-10mins. All you're doing here is giving it time for the cotton to absorb more juice. Glad to have you here.

Since letting it sit in the liquid and after taking about 10 big puffs not inhaling, I think the flavour is coming through now so I think I might have gotten lucky this time, I'll be sure to properly prime from now on though!

The PG carries the flavor. The VG makes the clouds.

You will find PG in all kinds of things.

Asthma inhalers
Ice cream
Flavor extracts.
Animal safe antifreeze Ethylene glycol is the deadly stuff for dogs and cats
