Mods,

I was going to make a new thread about vaping and ulcerative colitis and it says I can't make a new thread. Did I do something wrong? Why am I blocked?
There have been threads on here about folks who have digestive issues regarding certain ejuice mixture agents. You would be very welcome to start a new thread addressing that!

ETA: I am sure you are not blocked! I've found that after a certain amount of posts, you can no longer start a thread in the New Members forum. I don't know the exact amount.

No - the nic sort of adds up. And there is no rush because the rush of smoking is you asphyxiating yourself by breathing carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide (not to mention embalming fluid, gas chamber chemical, carpet glue and the rest of the 4000 chemicals in cigs)

I'm not going to debate the toxic chemicals in cigarette smoke but using terms like "Gas Chamber Chemical" and "Carpet Glue" is the same kind of sensationalist propaganda that we fight against when people use "Anti Freeze" to describe our e-juice.

The different led lights at the end are neat. I'll probably go with a blue. I think it's neat that they make some that look exactly like a cig but to me that will cause a lot of bad looks from uniformed people. If I have say a black one that glows blue they won't know what to think haha..

LOL... Well, I suppose they seem neat at first, but I've come to think of them as an annoying gimmick.

I'm personally exploring options for a small e-cig with NO light. That light can be an annoying attention-getter when you're trying to sneak in a quick puff in a place where it might make things simpler not to be noticed. Thinking of picking up an SD-keyring for just that purpose.

Personally, I think one could vape a mild flavor like vanilla in a crowded movie theater and go completely unnoticed as long as you didn't have a blinking light giving you away.

I'd stay away from Blu brand. Their disposable is much better than the reusables. I like their classic and coffee flavors. Even screwing their cartos onto an eGo battery won't give enough vapor. Once I make the VV mod I think I'll be able to finish my stored cartos and refill them.

Go with an 808 type. You can get them in some tobacco stores. The CIG2O is a good example of a retail 808 and it's Red tobacco cartos are tasty. The one I had was white with a red LED. Pop the front cap off and dab a drop over the LED chip on the board. Be sure enough runs over the sides to block all light. Add a second coat and set aside to dry thoroughly for a few days.
Just be sure to refill your cartos. You can buy new 808 cartos from anywhere online.

I went with one on my path to my eGo's and really liked it.

The new members section of this board is very active. Lots of folks with experience wanting to help new people find something that'll work for them. There are lots of good ecigs ,and bad ones too. No sense in new members making similar and costly mistakes. And the ones that do work can cost much less then some of the ones that don't work.

You know, this is what I like best about this forum. We've all been in this anxiety-ridden first few weeks of quitting analogs and it's so relieving to hear people say, "been there, lived through that". I appreciate all of the advice from the veterans. It's great that you all offer so much help to us newbies!
