The only one that is vaping for the fun of it and not to quit smoking? I quit in June 2010 with snus and nasal snuff and am a big reduced harm junkie ha! I wanted to try vaping for the fun of it and all the flavors.. I did miss "smoking" at home watching tv, surfing the web, etc but I can live without it. I just love the added demention to my nic hobby..

I'm sure you're not the only one that does it for the fun of it but there are many former smokers here that used ecigs to quit analogs. Former smokers .... I love saying that about us!

I started to try and supplement my analog addiction as 60 dollars for a carton was getting real old real quick. I was actually very surprised when I was able to put the analogs down completely . Since then this has become like a hobby for me I have fun researching and getting new equipment and flavors of juice to try. So for me it is kinda both .

you're not alone. I used it to quit, though I originally wanted to quit vaping as well. Now, well it's just fun to enter into this world and I don't care if I vape for the rest of my life.

My partner was really on board with me switching to ecigs because he wanted me to quit analogs (all the normal reasons)--- he was a non smoker, but now he vapes with me all the time. I've started buying flavors and batteries just for him.

While I am wanting to get down to no nicotine, once I get there, I might not stop vaping...in fact, the more I think about it, the more I think I probably wont stop. Why not vape? It's harmless as far as I know.

Well, I've discovered I can go for extended periods of time without my PV. Longer than I could ever go without my ciggys. No misery or crankiness so I would have to say, I'm enjoying myself now.

I used the ecigs to quit smoking, but now that I have an Ego and some huge cartridges I've been reducing the amount of nicotine I include in the liquid I mix up. I was buying pre-made eliquid and diluting it with VG from the start, but I kept diluting it to the point that I got very little flavor. I finally bought some flavorart stuff and now mix my own down to about 6-8mg nicotine so it's pretty minimal. Any lower than that and I get withdrawl symptoms so I'll probably stick with this for a while. I see very little problem with continuing with this amount of nicotine indefinitely. I was planning on leaving out the nicotine and just vaping candy flavors, but it looks like I'm still on the nic for now.

I did very much the same as the OP.

I didnt start vaping to quit my nic habit I started vaping as I was sick of being forced to go outside for a smoke and for health reasons.

It's the fun of trying this and that...have to have the new model and try it that is getting me away from cigs. Now DIY flavoring is my next venture. See if I can't make that just right taste that you have to have over a normal cig...
