I am not new to the e-cigarette and I can't post in the E-cigarette News forum so I will post here... I started at Vapor Talk and post there often but I am always looking up stuff here too...

I have decided to contact all the candidates up for Governor in California as I am from California and ask their position on the electronic cigarette. I have received a few responses and I also let them know I am doing this for the electronic cigarette community.

I will create a new post for each candidate by name and update each response I receive right when I get one. Thanks!

I am writing the find out how you feel about the Electronic Cigarette for a huge group of people. Can you please tell me your views and if you would allow this safer alternative to not be banned in the state of CA if elected as Governor?

As for me, I was a heavy smoker for 22 years until the electronic cigarette. My health has improved greatly like my entire family.

Celtic, good one for trying and I do wish you better luck than what I have had in regards to this.

I've spoken with 2 senators here in WA state and both are .......
They side step the issue and just bombard me with emails and letters about health reform.

I will be interested to hear the results.

However, I say we have our own "Tea party" and when and if necessary we organize some little rallies around this great land of ours.
Just need to come up with a good name though.

What we have to do is find a few celebrities to take up the cause.
That sort of thing works well in this country.

Someone needs to make a list of celebrities that smoke and I'll send them a 510

Chazz-I saw a pic of Leonardo DiCaprio using an e-cig but I have a feeling he doesn't need anything free As far as celebrities that smoke, I'd have to think most of them since they're about the only ones that can afford it now! I agree with your idea tho. This country does worship their celebs.................gawd I don't know why! So many adjectives I could put here but I'll be a good person and stop while I'm ahead.
