hi im tommy and im from central indiana. i have smoked since i was 17 or so im 24 now and i only usually smoke 4 or 5 a day but im excited to try the switch. ive been reading alot of the forum but honestly had no reason to make a profile until i went to the classifieds and decided to see if i can find a used blu for cheap. but found i cant even message the guy till ive posted 5 times in this section which i feel is stupid. i can understand making me say hi on here or something but not 5 and not to fast or itll be called spamming. im gonna look throught the newbie sectiona nd find 4 things i want to comment on and if i get blocked then f it i dont care. itll just make me never come back here but otherwise ive enjoyed all the help and new people that ive read on here

It's nice to meet you too. It's really too bad that you don't like the rule about sending PMs,it's there to help protect members from spammers,but......we can't make you stay and ask all the questions you may have,or will run into
I had a blu, i would suggest a 510 or eGo for you first PV. Between the very low batt life, small carts and attys that don't produce much vapor, you would be upgrading in no time.
You can ask questions here and they will be answered and you will have 5 post in no time. Are you sure you want a Blu?
Why would you want to start out with one of the worst reviewed devices around? As suggested above, an eGo or 510 would be a much better choice.
Yeah, I would definitely go for a 510 or kr808. Longer battery life, better vape. I have a pal at work with the m410 (also called Blu) and he is constantly swapping out batteries and refilling his cartridge. Me? I vape on my one 808 battery all night long at work (8 hours) with one juice top off halfway through.
They are also cheaper if you look for the 510 (three piece unit) or 808's (two piece unit), plenty of vendors here have decent kits for $35 or so.

Getting to the 5 post requirement doesn't take long at all! I agree with the others who said to start off with an eGo or a 510. I've heard so many people say they didn't really enjoy the Blu and wish they had started out with something better.

well if this helps yes i have seem all the trash talking towards the blu but i have already read that alot of people like theirs. i dindt smoke a pack or more a day i smoke 1/4th a pack a day maybe. i smoke reds. and mostly just enjoy smoking so im hoping that this is close to the real thing. i will most likely use it at home just chilling out and on smoke breaks at work lol. so being able to smoke it all day with one battery i dont think is that big of an issue. i was it to look cool and i tihnk blu has that down pretty well. i want i guess what its called is a good throat hit i dont want to feel like im smoking an ultra lite.. so if the blu is maybe not the best optins can u host a link or 2 with some better alternatives? thanks
Trust me, you're gonna be asking your share of questions, as soon as you get started. You'll be a fulltime member in no time. I had patience and if it wasn't for this forum, I wouldn't be where I am today (smokeless). Before you go buy that Blu, may I suggest that you research the Joye 510 or Ego. They are much more reliable. Good luck and welcome.

The advice here is correct on the eGo or 510, but if you are only looking for a quick & easy, looks like a cig, feels like a cig less than 100 - 150 puffs a day then go ahead and plunk down the cash for a Blu. You can always upgrade at a later date and donate the Blu to a friend

We just want you to start with a great e-cig fresh out of the gate. IMO, the reason you hear such good reviews about the blu is that ANY e-cig is amazing and will be better than smoking.
But once you get the chance to try the 510 (or even better the eGo) you'll be like, "WOW!"
Some people still swear by the blu though, so whatever works for you - as long as you make the switch to vaping, you'll be happy. (and you can always decide to try more kinds later - lots of us have more than one kind)

I thought the same thing too when I first started out and after buying a kit that does look like a real cigarette, I've changed my mind. I don't have any experience with the blu so I can't give you advise on them. However, as the old saying goes, "Looks aren't everything" and I find that to be very true with e-cigs.
I know you don't smoke that many cigarettes in a day, but you may find yourself vaping more often than you smoke. There are people who smoke as little as you do and say they love chain vaping. Then there's people who smoke upwards of 2 packs a day and only need or want a hit now and then. It's a different experience for everyone.

(we're just trying to save you a couple of bucks, since most of them ended up buying something else after being frustrated with the blu - but all of them are glad they tried it because it got them off smokes)
I had the Blu and hated it! Got a refund because of horrible battery life, overpriced mini-cartridges, etc. But I must admit, the Blu does look cool, if nothing else.
See, I'm not a Blu hater. In fact, I love my Blu. However, I soon discovered that I needed to have a manual battery. The auto batteries are great for a lot of people but I spend a lot of time driving with the window down or outside. Since I started using the blue foam mod (included in my classified offer) and dripping liquids, it really had amazing results. If you want it, let me know before I send it back to Blu.
