Hi I'm new to the forums mod box questions

Like the title says new to the forums not to vaping. Bought my first e-cig 1.5 years ago and so glad I did. Haven't smoked analogs in almost as long. My first real setup was an MVP 2.0 and a iClear 30. sense then I bought a istick 50w and a few Kanger Subtanks. Loving the flavor from this Subtank. Now I'm looking to get my first 100w+ box mod and a few RDAs. I'm wondering what everyone is using and how does it taste/vape.

Hello, thanks for the warm welcome! I'm current just using a istick 50w and a Kanger Subtank and Subtank mini. I like trying all kinds of juices but, so far my favorite vender for juice at a decent price would have to be Mt Baker Vaper. As for favorite flavor it's Suicide Bunny's Mothers Milk. I usually like my juice mix to be 70/30 VG/PG. I'm a sucker for a rich warm vape.

I just got my first mod two days ago and it is the Sigelei 100w Plus. Can't say enough good things about it. Stop thinking and just get it. Now!! Coming from Ego style batts I can't believe I didn't make the switch earlier. I'm using it with a Kanger Sub Tank Mini.

It has a spring loaded 510 pin so you don't have to adjust it, it's regulated, It has a small screen that shows you the battery life, watts, voltage, and ohms, and the battery life is ridiculous. I did some pretty heavy vaping for 48 hours before I changed the battery and the reason I changed it is because I had a second set of batteries come in the mail today and I switched them so I could charge the ones that were in the Sigelei since I used them for two days straight. I also had a problem with my drip atomizer shorting because of the coils and it didn't try to fire and the screen said "check atomizer" which is pretty cool. Just make sure you get two sets of GOOD 18650 batteries. I went with the Efest, but a lot of people swear buy the Sony VTC5. You want something that is 30 Amps continued.

I use a Sigelei 150w and its great. I rarely go above 70w so, in my experince, the Sigelei 100w is more than capable.

That is an outstanding post.

I have the Sigelei 100 watt plus but bought it for the battery life and I like it a lot. Never really go over 25 watts.

My preferred VW mod is the SX Mini, it's a 60W mod but it does everything I want it to and has great options and fits nicely in my hand.

Im always happy to see some Sigelei love... Ive got plenty of box mods, including a few that are technically more advanced, and yet still the Sigelei finds use every day...For most ppl 100 watts is more than powerful enough. I very rarely go above 110 watts, and really dont go that high very often. Between the more common 100 watt + mods (i.e. Sig 150, IPV3, God Mod 180, etc), the Sigelei is imho the most reliable, practical, durable, and easy to use (Why the heck does anyone even bother with screw on panels instead of magnetic anymore?). If going for Sig though definitely get either the 100+ or the 150. Improvements were made to the 100 that really improved the 100+, and these changes carry over to the 150.

Good read! But, with different coil builds I believe the extra wattage helps. Such as dual, dual twisted, and twisted coils. You know the art type coil building.

+1 on the Sigelei 100w plus. I've had mine for a couple of months and I love it. I rarely go over 20 watts, but if I ever want to it has the capability. Sigelie is a quality brand and their box mods show it.
