Hello, I've been reading this forum for a couple weeks now but never joined til now. So here i am! My first experience with e-cigarettes is Eversmoke. I have had a battery go bad already after less than a month. Other than that, I am happy. But i would like to start refilling the cartridges with juice to save money. And does anyone know of a less expensive battery that will fit the Eversmoke cartridges? They want $20 a pop which i think is kinda pricey. Anyway, I am happy to be here! Hi!

Hi kelli and welcome to the ECF. Well looks like your starting about the same spot as alot of us with the "cig-a-like" e-cigs. Hopefully it will satisfy you longer than it did alot of us. I got annoyed at how short of battery life and constant charging of batteries. Also the price for carts is pretty steep. I know you probably don't want to hear this but most of us would recommend a better kit for you say maybe a eGo kit or something. It will come with bigger batteries that last you pretty much all day or more (most kits come with 2), and also you can buy cartomizer's for around $10 for a 5 pack versus/$40 for a 15 pack on the Eversmoke site. Then I would suggest getting a few sample flavor kits from different vendors to try different flavors till you find something you like. They are usually under $20 for about 3-6 different flavors. All in all, you could buy a whole new kit with bigger batts and some cartomizer's or something and some flavors for probably the same or less then what you would spend at Eversmoke on a bigger battery and cart's of flavors. Sorry to be so long winded but that's my :2c:.
Good luck with everything. :)

Welcome Kelli !
I do not believe you are new. You appear to be fully grown, possessing a full head of hair, and you have somehow learned to type. :p

I also do not know anything about Eversmoke. They must be a Cig-a-like, with a refillable cartrages.
I do know that the kits like those (BLU) can be very expensive in the long run.
Would suggest that you might want to look at an eGo style system.
My starter kit was and eGo-C...easy to fill and carry- day to day...still my daily vape gear.
Batteries are MUCH better, you can easily go 10 hours of steady vapping with a 1100mah battery.

I am sure more members will chime in here soon...
So- here's wishing you The Best !

Kelli... first of all welcome... second, I agree with Spectre... I tried those ( sorry to say this ) cheap cig a likes and didn't like them one bit... went back to smoking... finally after some research I found this site and the wealth of knowledge it holds... do yourself a favor and get an eGo kit and save yourself time, money and headaches... Believe me when I tell you this... Pay me now or pay me later... what I mean is sooner or later you are going to grow tired of what you have and end up with an eGo or another Mod... in the long run you will be much happier.

I started with one of those cig look alikes as well. It lasted umm a day lol before I was looking for something better. I could see the potential but that wasn't going to do it for me. I think a lot of us end up starting with an eGo type due to the better battery life. I can't believe these companies are still claiming that one cartridge equals a pack of analogs. Complete rubbish imho.

Good luck with the journey, you will find a lot of helpful information here and great people.

Hi Kelli welcome to the ecf .I feel your pain. I too started with those cigi things and still smoked to compensate for their incompetence .However after coming here and finding out about the ego I can say that now I no longer smoke .thanks to these good folks .just read and learn like I did and enjoy your new life as a nonsmoker:toast:

Yet another nooby here.
Like many others I started with cigalikes. I have actually managed to persevere for over 3 months now with no analogues, using menthol flavor. The battery problem is the most annoying - failures and constant recharging. Moved on to refilling after I 'discovered' it.
Have now ordered a tank and 1200mah battery so I can dump the beginners stuff !
