hi guys im new,, been vaping for about two weeks now with my kanger subox mini, im thinking about upgrading to full mech any tips?

not entirely sure i would consider a mech an 'upgrade' from a regulated box mod... depending on what your goals are, you may want to look at an actual 'upgrade' to a dual battery regulated box...

check out a sigelie 150w box... if you are wanting to do the cloud chasing, you are better off with a good regulated higher wattage box mod than a mech - much safer... vaping has evolved significantly beyond the mech... don't get me wrong, i have a couple mechs, though i rarely use any of them except my el cabron dual battery box, and i am not hating on mechs by any stretch - but my sig 150 will consistently out perform 'em with same builds - a regulated box mod not only gives you safety features (a HUGE plus if you are going to be cloud chasing, especially with lower ohm builds) it will deliver power to atty consistently, at the wattage you set, where a mech starts off fresh, hitting well, then dwindles...

and i run a number of my attys within the wattage/ ohm range the subox will support - biggest obstacle there really is the fixed center pin can be pretty finicky with toppers other than the subtank, in my experience

i have not had any issues with any at this point... i have the sig 150w tc box - it will fire down to .1 ohm in wattage mode, i believe... as long as it is 510 threaded, should be good to go...

I feel the same way. I am still a fan of mechs and use them regularly, but for consistency, safety, and power, it's hard to NOT suggest a good regulated mod with all the hardware out there today.

Ohms law and battery drain tabs as well as the coil wrapping if your building.

Batteries matter in a mech if your going to vape low ohm builds.

Do however take the advice already given and have a look at the regulated mods around today.

Is pure glycerin safe? My friend gave me this said this is much cheaper than e-juices

Reg mods are generally safer, as for better it can go either way depending on who you ask and what you want from a mod.

You want vegetable glycerine food grade.
