Or Spookaloo or Spook-a-whatever and I'm happily addicted to nicotine. But I hate smoking cigarettes, would never chew and can't smoke a pipe without inhaling. So ecigs work out for me.

I found this forum while browsing with questions about vaping, which I'm new to. I'm using a Volcano Inferno, and I love it. Adding juice is a bummer because I manage to dismantle the entire cigarette in the process but it's still a great ecig. User error only. I have also used Noble batteries with SafeCig cartridges but haven't had as much luck with the products or the companies.

I'm from Utah. I lived in Seattle for many years, and have also lived in Idaho and Montana. I have 4 kids and am married to a great guy. We're into outdoor recreation, photography and pets, so Utah fits us even though we're not polygamous freaks or anything. ;)

This looks like a great forum with tons of information. I'm looking forward to browsing!

Thanks! I am concerned about legislation involving vaping, especially keeping the FDA out of it. In Utah, it's already illegal to vape in some places. Then again, this is the state that outlawed "spice" because teenagers said it got them high.

Hi Spookaloo, welcome to ECF and congrats :thumb: As for legislation I believe the only thing to fear is regulation and that's a whole nuther post. Realize a large tobacco company recently bought an Ecig vendor...usually they know the direction an industry is about to take in regards to regulation and/ or legislation.
Cheers and enjoy your stay.

I should introduce myself too so here it goes.
I am a 20 year PAD smoker that has been vaping for 6 months now and have successfully quit analogs. I'm usually hanging out at tvn elixir or vape tv depending on who is on. I started out with a couple ego twists but have since moved on to mods. I now have 5 mods and depending on a great deal will probably be looking for that next mod. I am on the lookout for a good group of vapers to hang with and have fun in Northeast Atlanta.

Welcome to ECF Atlanta! :)

You should check this social group out if you haven't already found it: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/groups/peach-state-vapers.html.

Thanks, everybody!

I can't post in other forums yet but if anybody could tell me why my Volcano Inferno battery's LED is flashing at me (6-7 white flashes) I'd be grateful. I love Volcano's products, but they're pretty skimpy on directions and user manuals. I'm somewhat electronically challenged and it's the simple things that confuse me. The simple things entertain me, too, but that's another discussion as well. ;)

Here's a tutorial. Hope this helps. Realize the Inferno is the same class as the eGo...almost identical. From their website:
"You will know that you need to recharge your eCig battery when the LED indicator light at the end of the VOLCANO & MAGMA eCig blinks repeatedly when you try to inhale on it and the unit does not produce any vapor. The INFERNO LED indicator light is contained within the button that activates the unit and will turn from white to red when the battery is depleted to 10% charging capacity. At this time it is recommended to recharge them. The LAVATUBE has a battery voltage checker which will allow you to check the voltage during use. Once the battery voltage has dipped to 3.6 volts, it is suggested to recharge it."

Thanks, everybody!

Thank you Vapoor! It's blinking white, not red, so I didn't realize it needed charging. It's still producing vapor...but I'll charge it. My kit came with two batteries. One is quite a bit larger. I really have no idea how to use the thing, just fumbling around and keeping paper towels handy for the inevitable spills. Like I said, I'm an electronics weenie. Good thing I live with a geek.

Thanks for the video!

It could also be:
a shorted carto, drained battery or a bad connection.
Also realize PVs have a "cutoff time" whereby the PV can only be activated for a certain period- 5 secs, 8 secs, 10 secs, etc. When it reachesd this time limit the battery will cutoff and the light will flash.
I guarantee that within a very short period of time you'll be a pro...I live with a Geekess :D

It may be that I was hitting on it too hard or too long. Thanks for that info!

the blinking just needs to be charged.it will also do it if it has a bad/shorted atty on it.

Atty? Sorry, I'm not up on the vaping lingo...I'm such a noob.
