me and my wife are going to be new to vaping but she is allergic to soy and i thank vg has soy in it so wold it be bad to get vg e juice or is vg 50/50 different as it looks like bulldog ejuice has pg and vg any help will be good as were getting a uno vapor to share for now
Some VG does contain soy. The best guess I would have to your wife having a safe vaping experience is get in house made e-juice and make sure that they use a soy free VG. I have heard of 100% PG blends as well, but have never seen them for my self. If you can not do either of those then it might be wisest to not have her vape.
EDIT: My Freedom Smokes offers some 100% PG liquids!
I wouldn't do 100% PG if someone paid me. The throat hit is way too hard. If you're having it made in-house just ask. Most places use food grade VG and the label would have an allergen warning if it were soy-derived. If you're using no nicotine, MAYBE 100% PG would be fine, but with the 24 mg I use, it's some rough stuff. Like vaping battery acid.
Glycerine can be extracted from different vegetable sources, maybe some factories do process soy products too. Just send an email to your vendor of choice and ask them if their VG may contain traces of soy. As stated above, food grade VG should have an allergen label if any.
If it's a serious allergy. You might have to make your own liquid. You can use palm vg wich doesn't contain any soy unless she has other allergies as well. Or ask vendors what kind of vg they are using.
Most of the time, if I have a question, I use the contact form on the vendor's website, and they have been more than happy and prompt about answering my questions. If you can't find the information you need on the website, contact the vendor.
