Hi every one I found this forum last week and am a little overwhelmed with all the information on here. So i bought the Volt starter kit for both myself and my fiancee last week and am so far pretty impressed. I haven't quit the analogs yet I've been using the e-cig at work mostly and it is really helping kill my mid morning and afternoon cravings I haven't had to leave my office all week to go have a smoke and my Fiancee is down to 1 smoke a day. I've decided for the time being at least to stick with with the Volt or something very similar (I often find it soothing to hold a smoke between my fingers even when not smoking and the Volt serves this purpose well). I've also decided to use the prefilled cartomizers for the time being. Now for the questions will other cartomizers work with the Volt battery or are they brand specific? Also I've noticed the draw is quite a bit different from an analog are there other cartomizers that are closer? Also any recommendations for menthol cartomizers I don't mind the ice menthol that came with my starter kit but would like to try different menthol flavors I've been a Kool smoker for 40 years

Welcome to the ECF and glad you are having a good first experience! I can't help much with the menthol question, but any cartos that are compatible with KR808D-1 will work. Bloog and V4L come to mind. The draw is going to be a little different than a cigarette and some cartos are stiffer than others. You may also find that they get a little harder to draw on as you use them.
The advice Cyber gave you is spot on the only thing I would add is about flavor. Don't get so caught up in chasing that great menthol that you don't try the 1000's of other flavors. A good many vapers here don't even like to vape what they smoked. I used to smoke regs and though I still love a good tobacco like RY4 or 555 recently ive found that I love some menthols and wintergreens. I couldn't stand smoking menthol analogs I would rather jus go without a smoke. A lot of the sodas and deserts are great as well. So by all means buy some menthols but try the other flavors too!
If you were to start buying juices and filling your own cartomizers I would recommend Rawrvapor.com. Mike has been called by many the king of menthol and has been said to have the best menthol flavor. Cool thing about his site is that you can add menthol to any of his flavors and add from just a hint of menthol to holy crap menthol. For example I have his Sugared Peaches flavor with just a hint of menthol and love it. So if you really want and/or need that menthol definitely check him out.

If you guys love menthol I have to fill ya in on this flavor by Mt Baker Vapors, Extreme Ice. Man this is such a kick you in the face juice. I love it and like I said I hate hate hated menthols. Its brand new so it may not be on the site yet but if you email James I'm sure he will sell you a 30ml for $7 shipped. Oh and he gives away 15ml freebies!! None of that 3ml crap for him. Really you cant beat 45ml of juice for $7 so give it a go..

The only e cig that resembles real smoke IMO is the green smoke and tobacco absolute. Remember taste is subjective.

Thanks for the reply's everyone I just went to V4L and ordered licorice, chocolate, berry sampler, and the cool menthol flavors I wanted to try vanilla and cinnamon but that can wait until next time I look forward to trying new flavors I have a feeling chocolate will be one of my fiancee's favorites
