Hello, I'm relatively new to vaping and stumbled across this forum when I got home from the store that I bought my PV at. I originally didn't even intend to start vaping, I quit smoking stinkies about 2 and a half years ago, although my wife continued to smoke. I heard a lot about e-cigs and a few people at my work use them, so I decided to head to the local vape shop and pick one up for her. They sold me a starter kit that they said was Ego-C, although it has these things that hold the e-juice that don't look like the Ego-C atomizers on the Joyetech website. From youtube videos I guess this is a clearomizer. The kit came with 3 little batteries, 3 clearomizers, and a couple of these little silicone rubber cap looking things with a hole in them that look about the size of the mouthpiece of the clearomizer. I also grabbed a couple of bigger batteries.
She kind of dragged her feet starting with the PV, and I can't blame her because she hasn't really decided she wants to quit yet, so I decided I would try one out. The taste of the watermelon jolly rancher 0mg I got for myself was pretty good, but it had no feeling of that 'throat hit' that I've seen referred to. I mixed the flavor stuff with some of her 'Cowboy Killer' flavor and that tasted pretty good as well, so I figured maybe the nicotine had something to do with it, or maybe there was 0 PG in the 0mg flavor juice I got myself. I went back to the store and bought a vial of 11mg Monster (energy drink) flavored e-juice and that hit the spot. I've gone through half the vial in about 2 weeks, and although I regret that I am once again putting nicotine into my body, it doesn't aggravate my asthma (the reason I had to quit smoking in the first place).
I do appreciate the fact that I am not burning paper, tobacco, and whatever chems and filling my house with filmy residue on the walls, and I look forward to trying new flavors.
