I have tried to quit smoking countless times and a friend of mine just quit using Logic ecigs. I have one, I use it, but its not doing it for me. SO, after trying to make heads or tails of what to do next by reading this forum, I think I have decided on a Halo G6 starter kit. I have a few questions that I was hoping someone could help me with:

What is the difference between a 65mm and 78mm battery?

I have no idea what pre-filled cartomizer to order. I am thinking of going with the 12mg since I smoked less than 10 light cigs per day. But what flavor? I do need it to taste somewhat like a "real" cigarette I am thinking in the beginning.

Should I order any blank cartomizers? How many? What goes in them, e-liquid?

Is it best to order directly from the Halo website or is there another site that might be more cost efficient?

Thanks for any help you can give me with this!

The 78 battery will last longer before needing charging( remember longer is a relative term when talking about cig-like batteries). Experiment with different flavors as long as you keep in mind that replicating a cig is darn near impossible. 12mg might be a good starting point(but there are no hard-fast rules for the strength that works best for you). Order extra juice for refilling the pre-filled cartos and blanks for possibly ordering juice from other vendors. Another option is Smokeless Image, they also have a sub-forum here, might be a bit cheaper.

The halo g6 helped me quit smoking. I would recommend them to anyone starting out. The 78 battery will be a little long and it will last a little longer (but not much longer). I would go with the 12 mg juices. If you are looking for a tobacco flavor I would recommend TriBeCa and capt jack. But keep in mind that no e cig is going to taste exactly like tobacco. And I would definitely get some blanks so you can try other flavors from other companies.

hi :) i was a 45+ yr heavy smoker until 2 months ago when i stumbled upon the halo g6 kit. they are very well made, and i didn`t really set out to 'quit' smoking, just wanted something for those times when smoking was not an option. BUT within a week of using the g6 i realized i had stumbled onto a miracle and began to realize that thru vaping i just might beat the cig addiction. so i ordered halo`s 'tritan' kit and the increase in throat hit/vapor/taste etc. gave me enough satisfaction that within a week of using the tritan i had STOPPED smoking all together.
.
everyone is different, but if you can get past the idea that you have to have something the same size as a cigarette, go straight to the halo tritan kit. and as another member said, get the tribecca ejuice [also from halo].

hope this helps. you`ve come to the right place to find out all you need to know to get off those bad tasting cigs. and good luck. :)

Been using the G6 kit for about two months and think it's a great place to start if you're not ready for something like an eGo (which I wasn't). Halo makes great ejuice, so even if you upgrade with other hardware in the future, you've started with some quality liquids!

To answer your questions, the bigger the battery, the longer it will last. The 78mm is a good place to start and you may want extras! I go through two of the 65mm easily in one evening (nighttime vaper only) and often start into a third battery before bed. I realized early on that I like vaping a whole lot more than smoking, so I vape a lot more than I smoked in terms of overall puffs taken.

With regard to juice strength, the general consensus is that everyone is different. I started with 18 but couldn't sleep, so now I'm down to 12 and 6 (smoked 6-8 light American Spirits and day, more on the weekends). If you find that the 12 isn't cutting it, you may need to bump your nic level.

If you're not sure what flavor you'll like, and since nothing will taste like a burning cigarette (which isn't a bad thing), my suggestion would be to get a few blanks and a few different liquids that sound good so you can test them out (i e, one flavor per blank cartomizer). Tribeca tastes like sweet caramel to me, no tobacco at all, but it's pleasant. Couldn't stand Freedom, but that definitely has a cig taste (think of the smell when you open a fresh pack). My favorites so far are Prime 15 (hazelnut tobacco?), Turkish Tobacco, and Malibu. Let a smoker friend try Torque 56 and she said it tasted like a swisher sweet, but I'm no expert there. My partner loves the Belgian Cocoa as an all day vape, along with Prime 15.

As far as your other questions, any blank kr808-d1 blank carto should work on a Halo battery, but if you're already buying a kit from them it's not a huge price difference. No one else sells their kits online as far as I know, but you can usually find a coupon code somewhere to save on juice. If I had it to do all over again, I'd probably buy my hardware from Smokeless Image because it's virtually the same (little cheaper with their ongoing 15% off coupon) and my juice from Halo, but that's just me! You won't be sorry if you go with Halo! PS, you should try a mini tank in addition to the cartos - gives you a stronger flavor and you can see how much juice you have left :)
